Original. Though I like Bauhaus’s faster and raw cover. I’ve also been told they were good lads so I’ve got a soft spot for them. And probably got the single somewhere in the shed.

Cover for me. But yes, love both. Electing Wyatt for musical reasons and fond memories of Peel shows and festive 50 challenges with Anarchy in the UK and Atmosphere

If an agreement is in place already with a club, according to Mr White Hilton, then surely fans suggestions are superfluous?

Matt deleted the thread. Though i do think we should cut Pele some slack. He’s acknowledged it was wrong to post it. No one’s perfect.

We’re not a league club anymore. When will people realise we can’t do things as professionally anymore? Fans need to suck it up and stop moaning about everything.

How many? Dunno. I did say on social media too. Aware I said ‘a large proportion’ in both sets, and that can’t be right. Maybe a ‘good number’ in each set would be more appropriate? That said, I’m still wondering where the truth might lie in this tangled web.

    ‘the club is falling apart.’

Well, apparently not according to DH and a large proportion of supporters on social media (Inc here). According to them (evidence suggests it’s really not 99%), it’s a about cutting our cloth and moving to a more sustainable model. And yet, a large proportion of supporters are not buying it and increasingly disappointed how things appear to be running and the manner in which ‘moving towards’ sustainability is being conducted, not least the daily PR disasters. So what’s really going on? What’s the truth? Is it somewhere in the middle?

Would the last person to leave GP please turn off the utilities and ensure everything is secure.

Still not clear what this post is about. Is the club leaving GP even before the court hearing?

Either way, it’s starting to get reminiscent of DH’s previous Twitter spats. Unsavoury and not advisable from a club owner…

‘Wendi Betts kind people that put them up 🤣
You’re on here having been paid extremely well by the club slating that very entity because you’ve lost your little earner. Stop spouting rubbish and portraying you were doing this out of the goodness of your heart to help the lads. Your motivation like most in that academy set up was financial.
You are just angry it’s come to an end.’

And a leftfield non sequitur post on the same thread – not going well today…

‘David White I tried to send you a private message regarding the new shirts and it wouldn’t accept me I have no idea why have supported the club by buying season ticket and just wanted some information as phone calls not answered’

    Wendi replies,

‘David White the boys found out on Tuesday night! And are devastated and have had no pay! With first years and the second years there was a full team with subs’
