‘He took on a complete and utter shit show from that arsehole’
A ‘shitshow’. Really? Across all departments? Is that not a sweeping generalisation? I’ve no doubt some areas would have been, but unless you work there, and I assume you don’t, what makes you such an expert? No one’s denying savings needed to be made mind.
‘who most of you now slating Hilton worshipped for such a long time before waking up to the truth.’
You sound like a conspiracy theorist. You were rightly critical at the time of Swann, but so were many others, whilst others chose to ignore it. Regardless, there’s a huge irony in this point.
‘Let’s be very clear the position this club is in is nothing to do with Hilton, he is trying to sort the mess out left behind and it cannot all be done straight away.
It is Hilton’s responsibility now and comments regarding off field matters isn’t stopping him in any way shape or form.
‘None of you know what the CCJ relates too even those of you like SNOT who claims to have “inside” information on everything at the club but in reality knows sod all and doesn’t even attend games and has been proven to be a liar on this site.’
Agreed, no one seems to know what it relates to but as some of us are pointing out, it’s about more than that. It’s about what other debts there may be, others who are not bring paid, etc.

On this thread an off field matter is being g discussed. We probably will keep discussing things like this till the cows come home if we think it warrants discussion and I’m sure most if us realise it might not make a difference, but that’s what forums are for, lest we forget.
Cannot believe anyone would question WGs astute match assessments. Shocking.

False economy and unsustainable. Though people are perfectly entitled to stick their heads in the sand and hope the suns still shining. Evidence shows that serves no club well

Supporters are entitled to express opinions about off field matters and will continue to do so, whether you want them to or not. I don’t agree with the ‘shut up and butt out’ ethos and suspect many others don’t either

Harsh IMO

At a stretch, it’s prose

August 16, 2023 at 10:34 am in reply to: 09/08/23 – County Court Judgement – £1,547.00 – Case No. K5AA1W08 #269570It is clear Hilton doesn’t want to spend money on anything he doesn’t feel is necessary – academy, groundsman, ticket office staff, stewards etc.
I know you disagree, so this isn’t a go at you, but many of these are important components of the club. We can’t just neglect them and we won’t be sustainable truly if we’re just cutting corners on vital roles.
Agree with those sentiments. I asked similarly related questions on the thread Daz complained about no one at the club getting back to him. I get savings have to be made but question if the cuts are all in the right places and whether some just can’t be made if the club is to be sustainable at the levels required to generate revenue needed to move up the leagues
Certainly sounded loud on the radio. Good effort
Beeston, nice. These home night matches should be a big advantage, full timwrs v part timers who might have been working most the day then travelling. Mentally and physically second best.
Fair play to the lad
All sounding very positive at half time on Humberside. Look forward to seeing the Whitehall free kick on highlights
Good of you to not go in protest over Daz’s issue awaywego.

Haven’t forgot about this bpg. Only just watched the video. Not a simple answer, a simple right or wrong and I have an issue with how this Frank Turek geezer has presented it. So I need more time to consider and give a lengthier response. Needs a bit of unravelling IMO
There is if there’s no nobody available to reply because the scant resources are spinning plates and prioritising

That’s a shame Daz. Presumably down to cost cutting. Which begs the question, at what point can it be legitimately deemed a false economy / unsustainable?

Pretty sure there are more questions than answers. Bet the odds on that are worse than us winning the league
Have the usual suspects any comments to make?

Have you asked your legal friend Les? I’d imagine it’s far from black and white. For it to constitute a conflict of interest, wouldn’t this new ‘Director’ need to be an official apppointment on Companies House? Otherwise could he be seen in the Judge’s eyes as no different to ‘some bloke down the pub’?That’s him. Could still be a handful, even from midfield
Agreed. One doesn’t need to invoke God. More a case of wanting and needing to for many. I don’t agree with the bpg quote Siderite though looking at another way, particularly ‘not philosophical concepts, but actual truth.’ I’d agree it’s nonsense, though someone like Kant would argue that the concept presupposes a God. Just his theory of course (though bpg might say that’s God given too) but he wasn’t a silly Kant. Problem with the ‘actual truth’ bit bpg claims is its unverifiable. That may be immaterial for the likes of bpg. Not for me it ain’t

They’ve just got an ex striker back I believe. Red flag…
Impressive figures covering one day. Who gave you the £4m? Santa? Fairy Godmother?
Definitely Beatles for me
Another close call but I’m going Madness cover. Sorry Labi
Close call but I’m plumping for This Mortal Coils cover
‘You gotta have faith’
George Michael
Just to continue that analogy for a bit – I’m frequently given the impression from some fans that Hilton is the saviour and when I ask why, they say, ‘cos he just IS, okay!?’ Okay, slight exaggeration but I do think you’re in the realms of ‘I’m right and you’re wrong because I say so’ territory bpg
No one is suggesting BELIEF in air is necessary to breath, but rather the FACT of air.likewise,no one is suggesting that professing belief in the Bible is necessary to use logic, but rather the Bible must be factual in order for use of logic to be reasonable.
I don’t really believe in Hilton and Dean but it’s a fact they’re at the club so I have to get on with it. Shouldn’t stop.me from being critical though.
