‘On the contrary, I’d argue the opposite is a dangerous attitude to have and the main contributory factor why we ended up in this mess.’
Don’t entirely agree. There’s a balance to be had between conservatism and ambition. I think the main contributory factors in why we ended up in this mess are more down to the people heading it up. The first being incompetent, the second being a convicted fraudster.

‘It’s not OK to target, discriminate or denigrate people because of ethnicity. Racism is wrong.’
And that squares with you supporting Trump how? Hard to take you too seriously tbh.
Can see your point about letting others know that some are not reasoned and respectful going down really well.
Amazing what fakery people fall for nowadays.
At least Buckland calls it out. Dowden to an extent but edging his bets a little.
Well IFA when you see Marco the one from the iron hour podcasts starting the “Jimmy Dean’s barmy army” chant at full time Jimmy’s job is well safe,
Had to turn round to see who it was, asked him if he was having a laugh but his continuous singing said not, just goes to show we all have well different opinions on what we see on the pitch.Did you get his autograph?

Don’t upset Jerry anymore than he already is WG!
At least the sun’s out Rene
Damn, was hoping to leapfrog you again NI. Still, happy to keep Cliff at bay to maintain top half status :)

I’m more concerned about the likes of Paul Marshall tbh
For me, the normalisation of radical/far right ideas and tropes (and the effect that’s having on the Conservative Party) is the one of the most important slow burn political stories in the UK today.
In that vein, reposting this from only 24 hrs ago. Feels more and more relevant https://t.co/tCYKUYslpw

The real thing is funnier. Well gotta laugh or cry.
Has any ex-UK Prime Minister ever done anything as embarrassing as this? pic.twitter.com/1gXqrVElxZ

A friend in football reckons that almost all our problems are down to the players’ attitudes.
(Mind you – aren’t managers required to do something about that?)Is this the same friend who advised you about Hilton’s chances of success, outbluffing Swann? If so, you may want to take it with a large pinch of salt.
And ‘yes!’ to the second part of your post.
Yes, it’s completely natural and normal for people to have opinions about what’s going wrong and what needs to happen. I trust Michelle and the Board to make the right decision in the best interests of the club. Meanwhile supporters should be free to express opinion without the need for aggressive reactions.

Probably C and you could include Simon who visited him.

I suspect the financial side hasn’t been easy. Just a hunch.

Fanny jokes. I can see how that works on two levels…
Yeah, Haaland’s attitude is much better. Not much else to separate them. Am I on the right site here?

Sometimes there’s no easy answers.
If Dean is that much at a loss to what’s going wrong and how to fix it, could he possibly be persuaded to step back for the rest of the season and let others in the coaching team lead, without the need for sacking and compensation?
Didn’t watch nor listen to the game but reports seem to say we played on the front foot yesterday if that’s the case I can accept losing if we were really trying to win give me that anyday than the slow boring stuff we’ve seen of late.
First half maybe awaywego, from the radio commentary anyway. But not finishing. Second half sounded a different story. Ponderous, errors, head scratching tactics and moves from certain players etc. Torpey was baffled by the frequent long balls when SS had the tallest player on the pitch, and was at a loss how the rot can be stopped (without saying get rid of Dean, obviously).

Justin was a poundshop Beckham. In hair anyway.
Did Mr Dave design A?
Blimey. Not heard about that.
On a different topic I’m sure I detected quite a few sports journalists piling on Crystal Palace and their handling of Hodgson, kind of intimating they were to blame for his hospitalisation. The noise before yesterday was ‘yeah, Roy, nice bloke but football’s moved on and so should he’. Might be exaggerating, but that’s how it came across. Almost like they were washing their hands of their previous lack of sympathy
Welcome along Liam. UTWI
I’m surprised Max hasn’t posted a completely unnecessary Partridgesque Tweet / X about the lad’s shortcomings and attributes. One that really makes him feel welcome. Again.
Then closed it for comments.
‘If Sainsbury’s sells me a case of San Miguel at 09.55 on a Sunday, they’re breaking the law. And the victim is????’
Definitely you. They should be paying you to drink that stuff.

Lad served his time. Give him a chance Rene. Not like he’s a serial fraudster with a shed load of other names.
