Nothing really Deerey, the net could be grabbed from the terrace which it was in the warm up, a pole keeping it taut gave way when celebrating the goal just needed sledge hammering back in, never noticed whether the steward was there all game.

That wasn’t you who inexplicably managed to fall over the wall was it?

What happened with the stanchion? Commentator said some Scunny Fans broke it during the first goal celebration and a steward had to hold it together or something? Sounded farcical

It’s so uninspiring I’m spending more time wondering how much it would cost the owners of that house to stick a window in the gable end and watch all home matches for free.

If someone doesn’t wipe the lens on the camera at Warrington I’ll not be able to see the pitch soon!

Did it never occur to these loons that the harder truth might be that she could just be really ill and there were sensitivities about it?

Apparently Nike designers have said it echoes the cuffs on the training tops worn by the 1966 team. Dead woke that innit. Bet le Tissier’s wetting his knickers about it all too.

For those grumbling, take a look at the 1982 England kit.

Or take a look at the cup winning shirt?

I agree, it’s not worth getting hot under the collar about but worth pointing out the idiocy of the likes of Shilton using it as an opportunity to shoehorn ‘woke’ in to a BBC interview without any pushback from the interviewer. If anyone can explain how this redesign of an overpriced piece of polyester tat is ‘woke’, make my day. Glad I’m not the only one who thinks Shilton is talking out of his considerable behind…

Peter Shilton on R4 saying the new kit design is ‘woke’, without any questioning of what he actually means. Ridiculous.

Sensible fellow cyclist I know has been knocked off 4 times in the last year. It’s a bad state of affairs when he asks why I haven’t and I have to tell him its probably because I’m so wary I’m cycling at such a slow pace anticipating a driver pulling out on me or cutting me up that I can stop and prevent it before impact. It’s the only way I’ve avoided being hit a dozen times over in the past year. Always wear high viz day and night plus decent lights at night.

And he’s not even complaining about that, it’s the amount of times it overtakes he has an issue with. If he needs to ask the question publicly he should perhaps do a cycling proficiency test and read the highway code. Nothing compared to almost getting banjaxed by taxi drivers and boy racers on a daily basis!

Buses and other vehicles overtaking you multiple times is a regular occurrence and isn’t worthy of posting a clip about. It’s not helpful to fellow cyclists in any way.

I saw Vine’s post yesterday and also watched it a few times. Agree with Siderite’s comments. I cycle and drive most days too. I also saw Barton’s comments. The less said about him the better IMO

I remember a midweek match under him, very cold, very underwhelming. We were housed in a seated side stand. Rochdale maybe? It was very dull. Think he left shortly after.

Don Rowing was speaking highly of him on the Facebook group I noticed. He suggested, implicitly, his lack of success at GP was down to the owner at the time.

‘If we didn’t get the best from him more down to him than anyone else’. How do you know it’s not more down to Dean?
