Still, given the Tories are looking at a wipeout in the general election I suppose it made sense for Mumby Croft and Waltham to win votes. As for Gateshead, you have no idea if a Tory council would have reached the same decision as the Labour one or not. Unless you know the exact reasons why they rejected the clubs 10 year lease extension?

Darren Fletcher (the broadcaster) gave a very good argument against scrapping replays on R5 last night. Kevin Nolan, now coaching West Ham, offered a pitiful whinging support of scrapping them, mainly based on massively overpaid Premiership players feeling the strain. Feeble argument particularly as you say IA, field a weaker starting 11, as they tend to do anyway. Pathetic greedy I’m alright jack tossers.
