Beck bags a goal a game to secure four 1-0 wins on the spin.
Cult status!
April 12, 2025 at 10:58 am #302126Fitzsimons to come up for our last minute corner at Hereford when it’s 2-1 and we need a draw…

There’s always someone who takes it too far.

April 12, 2025 at 11:44 am #302133Beck to score a headed goal directly from a Roberts corner. Ace!
April 13, 2025 at 10:45 am #302178Should have done a sweepstake months ago as to when he’d score next.
Will he get 2 league goals this season?Whitehall goes.
Season 25/26:
Do you keep a guy who’s on £1,500 a week on the bench?
Do you play said guy who’s never scores?
Stan’s conundrum!April 13, 2025 at 11:39 am #302179We let a prolific goalscorer (Elliott) leave because he didn’t fit the style the manager wanted to play. As Butler plays with “cut in and shoot” wide players rather than “crossers” it begs the question “why was he signed?” He won’t score if we don’t help him.
April 13, 2025 at 11:41 am #302180I’m confused. Butler signed Whitehall?
He would have loved to have that sort of budget.
April 13, 2025 at 1:38 pm #302181Have another read.
April 13, 2025 at 3:36 pm #302182The biggest worry is if we get promoted will we be keeping our best players or will we be getting the cost down again with a weaker squad and another relegation fight, until the debt is cleared
April 13, 2025 at 3:55 pm #302183The second option mick and it won’t be to get the debt down it will be to reduce current operating costs and until the problem gets fully addressed we won’t be going anywhere up for a long time.
April 14, 2025 at 4:19 pm #302221If we get promoted this season I don’t see the Club actively aiming for anything other than stabilising next season. Survival, with mid-table a bonus, will probably be the order of the day given to Butler. We have got to, as I’ve said elsewhere, face the fact we’ve almost certainly found our level. Yo-yoing between the division we’re in and the one above could be about as good as it gets.
April 14, 2025 at 5:11 pm #302224Even with a vastly reduced budget Butler should have the pick of NLN players (assuming he’s identified them during the season) to make us competitive in the NL if that’s where we are. A couple of EFL loans should finish the job.
