Read someone on X (Twitter) having a moan at the Club about Zanetti’s temporary bar, set up outside the Iron Bar, pumping tunes all the way through the match on Saturday. Have to agree, it wasn’t good. Where I was sat it was loud and distracting. Matt Roberts and co need to remember that even though the necessity of things like the bar and whatever else outside the ground are to an extent understandable and maybe even welcome, the match itself isn’t an add-on, it’s the centre of it all, the absolute reason. Hopefully they’ll tell Zanetti to put his manners back in, and STFU. It’s important that the same disrespect isn’t shown to the supporters and the Club itself during the Final.
May 6, 2025 at 9:31 am #304097I’m really worried about who they want to attract to the club,I don’t want the kind of person who’s impressed by bare Knuckle boxers anywhere near me or the club

I don’t remember reading that attendance is compulsory, nobody is forcing you to go!
May 6, 2025 at 10:12 am #304103What an odd response as I don’t claim to being forced to attend anything ,merely worried about a Knuckle Head United image.

I think he means to the Stadium Weekender – or, as I heard someone on Saturday describe it, the Z-Fest.
May 6, 2025 at 12:30 pm #304113This Stadium weekender as I understood it is costing the Club nothing to put on and they benefit from any profits.
Let’s hope it’s a better event than the last one in the 1960s which was as I remember a bit of a disaster and had a lot of the top bands of that era.May 6, 2025 at 12:52 pm #304114This Stadium weekender as I understood it is costing the Club nothing to put on and they benefit from any profits.

Zanetti seems to be a bit of a clown but at least he’s trying to make his event count, and I suppose we have to be patient with the nonsense. But playing loud dance music during the match itself was a step too far, and there wasn’t anyone sitting around me that appreciated it.

If only.

The hospitality suites are going to look like one of those paint powder runs.
May 7, 2025 at 7:12 pm #304172I received an email last week offering me 50% off tickets, so presume they are selling very poorly indeed.
