Strange team, just hammered Carlisle 5-0 after losing at home Saturday to Solihull, watched the game and they battered them and could have been a lot more
September 24, 2025 at 6:07 am #311527Carlisle were appalling – Hughes gave up and at down.
September 24, 2025 at 11:00 am #311529I like it when a team hammer’s someone before we rock up on their doorstep.
September 24, 2025 at 2:18 pm #311537I don’t

October 2, 2025 at 12:37 pm #311789Let’s face it CBRP the away games over the last 2 seasons have been mediocre at best, glad at last the team are putting performances in worthy going to watch the footy rather than just treating it as a good day out with friends and just happening to see a football match.
Don’t get me wrong getting out of that shite league was all important last season, but going to games now and watching a performance where it doesn’t matter much (well not at the moment, here’s hoping) is so much better.
Goes without saying I wasn’t convinced with Butler promotion or not, but hey he’s doing a great job this season and all credit to him.October 2, 2025 at 3:34 pm #311797Last couple of years have been dreadful away, majority of the time no roof and spread around the ground.
No idea why but last night everyone was up for it, felt more like a cup tie than a standard league game. Must’ve given the players an extra 5%.

October 2, 2025 at 7:59 pm #311799So often bottled it last few years in front of massive crowd.Testament to the players and coaching/ management. The change started under Butler

Boycey air kicks one of the multiballs in front of the York fans after Beestin scores.
Brilliant !October 3, 2025 at 1:04 pm #311832I see Beck, Eze and Brogan are not making the bench. We need to ease these 3 out and extend TSF’s loan spell.
October 3, 2025 at 1:17 pm #311834…and bring Hakeeb back!
October 28, 2025 at 12:15 pm #312579…and bring Hakeeb back!
No thanks.
October 28, 2025 at 1:42 pm #312580Haks – sad waste. For me under achieved although he did have a good payday at Bristol City.

October 28, 2025 at 5:12 pm #312582No amount of talent makes up for lack of application.
So true and still with the same agent !
October 28, 2025 at 5:41 pm #312584Better than any winger we currently have on our books, including Roberts.
October 28, 2025 at 5:58 pm #312585Apart from the fact Hakeeb has about 3 good games a season and Roberts has about 3 bad ones.

October 28, 2025 at 6:42 pm #312587Yeah ok. Haks 13 goals in 30 games in League 2 last season. Has Roberts ever played a game in the football league?
October 28, 2025 at 6:51 pm #312590I saw Haks (occasionally) play for the Iron. Did some exceptionally skillful things that rarely had an end product and played well for the team about 3 games a season. Stand by that statement.

October 28, 2025 at 6:55 pm #312591While we’re at it Roberts hasn’t had the career his talent deserved due to injuries. Ditto for Haks but because he couldn’t be arsed.
Nothing against the lad but it is really sad to see such a waste of talent.
October 28, 2025 at 9:14 pm #312600Yeah ok. Haks 13 goals in 30 games in League 2 last season. Has Roberts ever played a game in the football league?
Yes, for Colchester Utd.
And in the SPL for Kilmarnock and Aberdeen.
October 28, 2025 at 10:04 pm #312605In the days when I gave scores to players – he barely managed to get above 5/10 over a whole season.
Considering that he might have had a decent handful of excellent performances – it rather means that there were a fair few fours out of ten.
A player who could have and should have been a Championship regular, IMHO.October 29, 2025 at 12:13 am #312607Notts. County.
