Hit, miss or maybe?
This one is very difficult to make a result prediction, let a correct scorecast.
1/2 York
3/1 Draw
9/2 IronI think it’s closer than that. A 1-1, 2-2, 2-1, 1-2; maybe even a 3-2 or a 2-3
Think I’ll be happy with a draw. Not odds wise or anything to do with perhaps having a wager – just because it’d be a good point and maintains the unbeaten run.
Yeah, go for a win but don’t be dissatisfied with a point.
September 30, 2025 at 10:33 am #311712Probably stating the obvious but we need to be up and at em from the off. They’ve seen what standing off achieved first half against Boreham Wood. Got a feeling there will be a clear winner here, not a draw. 2-1 Iron but could go either eay
September 30, 2025 at 11:52 am #311713Hopefully the kitkats I bought will taste all the sweeter afterwards.

Yes positive is always the way to go and it hopefully removes the 352 shape because it draws people backwards.
Issue is with Rory not allowed to play will we sign emergency cover ?
I do think this is one of those must do now decisions. All clubs in our grouping will be looking to widen a gap and we do need to keep close.Nice to see we have strikers that can be switched in their pairing for each game.
Best to all the travelling support.

September 30, 2025 at 12:40 pm #311720What’s the deadline for an emergency loan?
September 30, 2025 at 1:08 pm #311721Shan’t be there myself on another holiday, 5 of my family will be however, maybe not bad thing can’t remember winning there when I’ve been.
Remember leaving at half time when losing 3-0 at the old ground and was back in scunny as the game finished.
Hope everyone has an enjoyable night unlike the Carlisle fans who also rocked up in numbers.September 30, 2025 at 1:25 pm #311722Keeper secured. He is a Premier League youngster and U21 international. Not quite the experience I was expecting/hoping for, but probably tricky to sort at such short notice and he comes highly regarded.

September 30, 2025 at 7:29 pm #311723Just in case anyone does not know:
Midweek car parking is free after 6PM at the Vangarde shopping center. The car park does get busy on match days, and getting out of the car park does take some time.
Also, if you’re travelling on the A64, watch out for the average speed camera’s. They’re tuned to 40 mph, so stick it on cruise control and relax.
September 30, 2025 at 10:18 pm #3117283-2 York hope aI am wrong but still a great start to the season
October 1, 2025 at 7:30 am #311730Anybody got an update on Campbell, please?
October 1, 2025 at 7:31 am #311731Living just 9 miles outside of York, and my daughter and her boyfriend being York City supporters means that this match is extra special for me. I have a ticket for the away end, and my daughter and her boyfriend will be in the home stand, behind the goal.
It’s not just points that are stake, it’s bragging rights for the next few months!
October 1, 2025 at 8:37 am #311734Daz, massively disappointed mini SOD wasn’t injected with claret and blue. Or is it the boyfriend forcing his wicked way on her?

It’s actually one of my elder daughters…I have one who lives in Leeds and supports York City because her boyfriend supports York, and another who lives in South Cave and is an armchair Scunny supporter (she can’t be at the match today as she is down in London today).
It could be worse, they could support Leeds and Hull!!!
October 1, 2025 at 10:25 am #311737is the Old Sod going?

Will we see it tonight?October 1, 2025 at 4:36 pm #311747In Butler’s pre-match interview he suggested Callum is out because of concussion protocols.
And no official word on a goalkeeper. Do we have one?
