Claims there’s been clear progress and he can’t wait to prove people wrong.

I want a pint of whatever he’s had.

Progression in these 3 games?….more like regression.

    Unbelievable.

Plays kev as lone front man…moves McAtee right back into midfield, plays a CB at LB, the wingers playing further back which results in nothing upfront and a stifled midfield.

Jesus christ, if this is progress….I think I might just give up.

Don’t give up WG and by all means keep drinking before the game, it’s the only thing that keeps us all watching the tripe on offer at the moment.

I’d love to proved wrong in my opinion of his ability to do the job successfully. He’s not started well and I’m not holding my breath, however the humble pie is in the freezer ready for the oven if necessary.

I’d like us to progress under Wilcox, I’ve seen no evidence in the last 3 games,if anything, I’ve seen us get worse.

Agreed, it’s a bit reminiscent of when Dawson got the gig last season, we all wanted him to succeed but how many on here thought he actually would? Exactly, it’s the same feeling with Russ.

    …what does that actually mean?

Well ” he knows ” like the rest of us it’s in deep shit at the moment. Don’t think that makes his job any easier.

As WonderGoals says playing KVV as a target man is crazy. He was playing his best football since he arrived at the club then all of a sudden is switched to a role that doesn’t fit! Unbelievable.
Then again Paddy Madden and numerous others have been ruined by the same stupid tactics.

Bill, moving Van Veen to the lone front man role while dropping McAtee right back to midfield is foolish to say the least.

Van Veen playing upfront and McAttee in the no 10 role is hardly ideal but least you get link up play between them and takes a bit of pressure off Van Veen.

Wilcox has been at this club how long ?

Why hasn’t he figured out that Van Veen doesn’t suit playing as the lone front man?

Has Wilcox spent his time here blindfolded ?

What exactly do you expect Russ to say? We’d all love him to win every game from now to the end of the season but that’s about as likely as getting alcazar to send Peter Swann a Christmas card or Pat to find a meat pie at GP.

What a management team, Wilcox, two goal keeping coaches and Turnbull, what chance is there of this crewe gaining any respect from the squad of players.

Was it on UTI99s list :- League Two club with the most GK coaches, and the team with the most GK clangers.

I’d be happy if he tried to win every game but, based on the first three, that’s unlikely as well.

WOW! I honestly thought I’d NEVER see the day that a post from Alcazar would not only not make my eyes roll (If not spin multiple times) But I’d actually find myself agree with him! It would appear miracles really do happen…..
