Dont know if I have missed something. Is he still our player that is injured (hence the reason why he has not appeared at any matches) or has he been sold on. I can remember when there used to be a weekly report from the manager, which included how injured players were progressing. Even now and then a report from the CEO. What are these people afraid of by keeping us in the dark. They keep pushing us to get season tickets, you would think that common decency dictates that they should keep us informed on what we are being asked to spend our money on.
July 23, 2025 at 10:34 am #307479he has played but picked up an injury, but came on as a sub last night, I believe Rowley is injured, also I think Andy will issue weekly statements when the season starts
July 23, 2025 at 10:37 am #307481thanks for that update
July 23, 2025 at 11:53 am #307485He’s not our best player
July 23, 2025 at 11:57 am #307486Any clues how season ticket sales are going?
July 23, 2025 at 12:09 pm #307488I forgot about Rowley. Anybody know what injury he’s picked up and how long he’s out for ?
July 23, 2025 at 12:15 pm #307490Guess Whitehall’s huge money transfer to Mega Bucks Matlock dropped through?
July 23, 2025 at 12:31 pm #307493that would probably moved him further away from were he lives, that if it wasn’t a rumour to start with
July 23, 2025 at 12:34 pm #307494No on the season ticket sales and that’s a shame the club don’t offer these kinds of info up to the fans, does it matter no not really but its these little things that keep fans onboard, not everyone has ironawes attitude a shirt is a shirt what’s it matter.
Doncaster announced they are approaching the 6000 mark.July 23, 2025 at 12:41 pm #307496I assume if there’s something worth shouting about, they will.
July 23, 2025 at 12:52 pm #307497Well they haven’t up to now which is the point.
I take it you did read the opening post, and the one from Les.July 23, 2025 at 12:59 pm #307498Fans are as interested in what’s happening at the club in close season as they are in season. Four things mentioned above. Rowley injury, season tickets, Whitehall injury and transfer rumour. What does it take to put on the site a brief note of whats happening. So that we all know as much as the rumour mongers!!
July 23, 2025 at 1:25 pm #307499Carlton didn’t feature last night either.
Don’t know why people think they need a constant drip-feed of information.
Definitely a 21st century issue. I blame social media. Seems to be taking the rap for everything these days.

July 23, 2025 at 2:52 pm #307504Only because there’s no local rag to ask the questions of the club 6 days a week.
Hardly the fault of social media it’s just that in all walks of life, it’s how you react to all events.
For all Yankee faults, nowadays if there’s an nasty event they’re straight on it within hours you know the background of the offenders and race good or bad.And like has been said there keen enough to sell and give info on all duff products that which we could make are own mind up on.
At one bit last season they were giving the loan watch on how are players were fairing at other clubs, all good positive stuff both for the club and for us, so why shouldn’t the fans have info on run of the mill matters round the club.July 23, 2025 at 3:19 pm #307506Only because there’s no local rag to ask the questions of the club 6 days a week.

Sometimes the misuse of social media based on misinformation and lies causes an awful lot of trouble.

July 23, 2025 at 3:30 pm #307508My point about having something worth shouting about was in direct reference to your season ticket sales post awaywego. I assume there’s nothing much to shout about regarding that?
July 23, 2025 at 4:13 pm #307519Ffs all you need to know is what time the KO of the 1st game is so you can decide whether to go or not..You don’t need anything else, some player updates might be good but that’s all you may need.If you have a real life that is.

July 23, 2025 at 5:12 pm #307523To be fair Deerey I was really expecting record sales for a non league season, and like Donny promoting that little bit more to squeeze every extra season ticket they can get.
Personally I don’t give a damn not buying a season ticket (but now might be getting a free carers one) to use at the odd game, not buying a shirt not buying any merchandise or food if I do go to a game.
But many on here want as much money going into the club as can be had I dont, info, promotions, advertising call it what you will if it didn’t work nobody would bother, some of you need to make your mind up whether you want that extra revenue for the club or not.
Like I say it doesn’t bother me I’ll still go to the away days I want to and expect the rest of you to help keep my team going.
Ps, Ironawe I explained the way the yanks handle things now to mitigate false social media posts, if only our police had done the same after the Southport tragedy so your way off the mark yet again.July 23, 2025 at 5:49 pm #307528That’s a joke Awaywego coming from the country of Trump the perpetual liar on social media, your alternative reality of the real world is as ever hilarious.

There’s a big difference between ‘need to know’ and ‘would like to know’. Engagement with fans is crucial, making them feel part of the club. Nobody expects confidentiality to be breached but information on players fitness for example would surely be of more interest than the birthday of players few remember.

Exactly Cass .. fans being kept in the loop is not a lot to ask yet more recently (6 months ago including the 000XXXX SHARE SECRET) the club seem to have gone very quiet… except for selling STs and Merch.
I do like question of the week but you are correct the ex players birthdays are a waste of band width. On the pitch ..long hard season ahead with what is a very unbalanced squad at the moment , looking great attacking wise but defense is worrying ..and the keeper issue remains even after signing Watson

July 24, 2025 at 10:53 am #307539There’s a big difference between would like to know and demanding a permanent drip feed as some are .
It would be like sky sports news cutting to grounds to earnestly pretend they know something when they really spend 5 minutes filling.Or those guys sat around a table pretending their guesses are insight.July 24, 2025 at 2:17 pm #307540If it helps Joe Rowley was doing laps of the pitch at Skeggy while the other players were out warming up on Tuesday evening.
July 24, 2025 at 8:50 pm #307571Seems to be one of those “fatigue injuries” that Butler harps on about.
July 29, 2025 at 7:45 pm #307791Did you see yanks response again Ironawe, within hours they put everything out about the perpetrator.
And certainly beat everyone to false social media posts.July 29, 2025 at 8:43 pm #307793Did you see yanks response again Ironawe, within hours they put everything out about the perpetrator.
And certainly beat everyone to false social media posts. What to Whitehall going to Matlock? That’s weeks old mate.

September 4, 2025 at 1:38 pm #310813Does that put him in the same league as Pele and Beckham? Actually I believe Pele missed from 50 yards but Beckham certainly scored back in 1995, always nice to see those go in.
September 4, 2025 at 7:03 pm #310824Or me!
I scored from the halfway line in a 4-0 win over Hellenic circa 1980.
And who can forget Andy Keogh’s at Carlisle?
