Pleased though U’ve been with our season so far, there are two things holding us back!
Firstly, in attack, the ability to convert some guilt edged chances!
Secondly, in defence, an inability to see games out! Lots of positives and 2 controllable negatives for AB to work on!
ANSWERS ON A POST CARD
Beck .. disaster signing
Inability to see games out
Stupid mistakes
Injuries
Silly suspension ALA Horton Starbuck
The stubborn side of Butler … he has to sort out this trying to defend games out and attack more when leading .. this negativity will cost us as it has already this season.
I think he is after beating Russ Wilcox’s record of 90 plus minutes dropped points, plus the defeat against Sunderland in the Mini Mouse Trophy and the Eastleigh goal in the abandoned game
Did Beck hold the ball up once after he came on
On todays showing and the season so far Beck could not hold up a tomato plant .. total waste of a squad place and the attached salary.
What stops us being a really good side?
Money.
Are the substitutions always necessary ? Do people think it disrupts far too often ? And I note several questioning Carlton and his conversion of opportunities. Why not give Chadwick the opportunity.
Chadwick got an opportunity at Eastleigh and didn’t really do anything of note.
Howe hasn’t completed a full game yet. Does he really run himself completely into the ground, or is it his just his GPS telling the management team “that’s enough running for you, off the pitch you come?” It does seem like we make substitutions for the sake of it half the time.
7th in the league, 7 played, 15 points
I don’t think some could take it if we ever got back to the Football league
