May 10, 2023 at 6:30 pm #261917The Church of England, the King and the former military chief have all condemned the Rwanda plan, which just goes to show how all our institutions have been taken over by the liberal metropolitan elite. ;-)
If someone doesn’t rant continuously about illegals in dinghies, they can’t be or be aligned with the salt of the Earth common man. Them’s the rules.

May 10, 2023 at 7:16 pm #261920Actually them’s the rules of the current Government who will push this boat issue all the way to election day and say they are taking the majority of the British people with them, despite a lack of hard evidence to back their claims. Meanwhile their ham fisted approach to running the country and ignoring far more important issues will continue.
May 10, 2023 at 7:16 pm #261921Is he caring for others and wanting to help people in need?
He asked the king to do that on Saturday. The king agreed, swore an oath.
About time this Government did the same thing.
What do you think BPG?

I agree, it’s about the only populist topic they have.
Appeal to the dark side.May 10, 2023 at 8:14 pm #261924Wasn’t much evidence last week that it was top of the “people’s priorities”.
May 11, 2023 at 6:44 am #261931Christians are leaving the COE in their droves. The way Welby has taken the Church into an unbiblical position is the reason. He has fallen in line with the “ world” if you understand.
May 11, 2023 at 8:12 am #261933They’re leaving because he’s a bit more grounded, more in touch with reality, more compassionate in a traditional Christian way you mean? Maybe it’s those leaving that are out of touch and cold-hearted. That said, goes for many atheists and football supporters too. Indeed, look at how many Iron supporters are prepared to turn a blind eye to the treatment of long serving staff if it means they can still attend GP of a weekend (for now).
