Jordan Hallam!!!! How many games this season? Must be the unluckiest player around, decent when fit.

Put Jordan and Luke Williams in the same category, very talented but just can’t stay fit. Think there must be a certain type of player whose bodies just can’t withstand the rigours of professional or semi professional football, always felt sorry for both lads.

Not as bad luck as Ramon Calliste we signed on a free transfer from Man United. Think we were playing Brigg in a pre season friendly and was on the end of a terrible tackle. Ended up suffering a double leg break and soon had to retire.

Yeah we’ve had a few of them. Nigel Pepper and Kenny Milne both managed 2 games each I think?

His bad luck turned out to be not that bad:-
“When Calliste hung up his boots, he pursued a passion for luxury watches. Nowadays, almost 18 years on from that career-ending injury, he runs Global Boutique, a Mayfair-based business that deals in high-end timepieces with price tags reaching up to £355,000.”

Kenny Milne…never known another player to make such a lasting impression with so few appearances. When he played he did look very good!

That doesn’t compare with scoring worldies donning our colours, cassidy. Or does it ?

And a dislocated ankle ! That was the more serious injury as well.

We signed him from Liverpool not Man United Burny, he started at Man United then Liverpool, but the rest is correct

Wads of cash or memories in a Scunny shirt? Tough call.

It’s always wads of cash, this badge kissing nonsense has always been BS IMO, it doesn’t pay the mortgage or give you a better lifestyle you desire, wads of cash every time, they are professionals not numpties.

Trinity have signed Jonny Margetts. That may make it difficult to retain Dec Howe with the budget Russ will have to work with.

Could turn out to be an excellent purchase for them.

If Roberts is moving on, I would like to see Jack Muldoon at GP, if we can afford him and he still fancies the idea of finishing his playing career at the Iron. Not agreed new terms with Harrogate, as far as I’m aware?

Jack Muldoon – 36 years old with 4 goals in 47 appearances for Harrogate this season. On the decline, so it’s a no thanks from me.

I get that. But still think he could do a good job for us a league lower and the experience would be handy.

    Awesome if he’s joining us.

Someone at the club had identical thoughts on Banjo!

Beck could flourish next season. Got a good feeling about it.

He is not a poor player. He may, however, be a square peg in a round hole.

Beck isn’t 36 years old either so the Rene comparison with Muldoon is tenuous to say the least.

If he couldn’t notch in NLN then extrapolation would suggest he’s going to find it even harder a level higher.

The age of Beck & Muldoon is irrelevant.

Deerey thinks Muldoon could do a good job one league lower. [maybe he could?]

Someone at SUFC thought Banjo could do a job one league lower.

Banjo’s stats and consignment to the bench by Stan shows that he couldn’t.

Strange though that Beck scored goals in the league we have just been promoted too before, don’t write him off just yet based on what he’s done here so far, tactics mean different performances from different players.
