Some on Twitter suggesting we’ve had an unannounced ticket price increase .Fans paying for Robert’s latest folly?
August 7, 2025 at 11:21 pm #309165Not sure about other prices, but I know it cost £14 for an early bird OAP ticket in the main stand last season, but is £16 now.
August 7, 2025 at 11:46 pm #309167Is this ‘smooth’?
August 7, 2025 at 11:50 pm #309168I noticed it earlier when finally being able to buy a friend a ticket on the fanbase app. £2 increase for all areas. Thought I was doing something wrong at first as I couldn’t remember an increase being announced.
Instinct tells me it’s to cover fanbase’s slice of the pie. May be wrong on that. Regardless it’s poor optics again through lack of clarity and communication.

14.2% hike in price
3.6% inflationAugust 8, 2025 at 10:56 am #309239The price rise on its own doesn’t bother me, the club clearly need the money.
Why was it not announced when the ST freeze was? You could have pushed for more sales as the price per game would’ve been even better for a ST.
August 8, 2025 at 11:24 am #309245Not their style theyd rather just slip it in unannounced, just like last season with the 50/50 draw turning it into a just a draw creaming everything over the £500 maximum prize pot.
August 8, 2025 at 11:34 am #309248Or the communication about the rise was an oversight? Either way, it’s standard practice for a club to announce it before slapping it on tickets. Hope it doesn’t put people off

In theory
August 8, 2025 at 11:41 am #309252No problem with the price rise. I think they should have put up season ticket prices as well.
However, a double digit percentage rise in prices without even announcing it is beyond stupidity.
The words speak of the importance of the fanbase. The actions scream the opposite.
August 8, 2025 at 3:01 pm #309271This is a massive screw up,Roberts era Iron again.
This price rise, although not huge ,being sneaked in shows a complete lack of respect. It also nay have helped fans decide to buy season tickets.
Roberts and Sharpe love a launch video and throwing in Partnerships for the sake of it like the ticket system which probably swallows up the price hike ,or the new shop Muppets skimming profits ,but simple things like respecting fans seems way off the radar.Even the fans reps are blatantly just there because the Trust upset board members over fc100000
It’s also alarming that the club are all over social media and will know the discussion on here and other platforms yet don’t see this as serious enough to warrant an urgent explanation .They’ll just carry on retweets about how be great things by the same old faces1 user thanked author for this post.
August 8, 2025 at 3:18 pm #309274Still a big price hike considering they didn’t raise season ticket prices, one could question whether there’s any cohesion at the club, they just seem to get everything wrong.
Wonder wether they run the price increases past the fan groups, pretty sure we know the answer to that.August 8, 2025 at 3:56 pm #309276I think we pay too little tbh.Tgis is about respect and competence

i am fast becoming an AWG believer that the club really dont give a sh8t about the fans only when it comes to creaming them.
The lack of communication is head shaking… Whilst the legend Michelle Harness and Roj R believe it may be a fans club really are the other BovD members and CEO Roberts that power pissed they think they can treat the fan base so shabbily.August 8, 2025 at 5:21 pm #309281‘i am fast becoming an AWG believer’

August 8, 2025 at 6:22 pm #309291As an influential site we at Iron Bru have been very patient and forgiven a lot of this administration.Mainly out of respect and gratitude for Michelle on particular.I can see that changing if the rest of the board continues to back Roberts who it seems is obsessed with change for the sake of it and like above shows has little attention for details such as communicating to fans such important things as price hikes
