I see they took a good thumping last night.
We’ve enough offensively to come away with the 3 points.

Always worries me when a team has been hammered the game before we play them.

    Often get the backlash.

    I’m favouring a draw 1-1 Robert’s to score.

Whilst i predicted a 2-2 draw having seen the odds on 3-3 ive had a slippery tenner on that at 50/1

This season with our attacking options i fancy us to score plenty but also concede considerably more than last season.. Howe Whall n Roberts to score in most fixtures if they can keep fit.

2-1 Iron. Don’t see them scoring more than one.

They’re struggling for goals recently and I think we’re pretty solid at the back.

It will be a toss up between Sutton and Halifax who puts the most crosses and throws just under our crossbar.

Maison will be needing his hard hat this weekend.

    Double Result HT – FT

    Draw – Draw 4/1
    Draw – Yellows 24/5
    Draw – C&B 6/1

    Yell – Yell 12/5
    Yell – Draw 12/1
    Yell – C&B 28/1

    C&B – C&B 18/5
    C&B – Draw 12/1
    C&B – Yell 25/1

In the two games we’ve played so far, both have finished: Iron – Iron

I don’t see any reason why it should be anything different today.

Iron to lead at half time and at full time (18/5) for me.

    Sutton 1-3 Iron

Being able to come and take crosses/high balls into the box and take pressure off of your defenders is what separates the men from the boys in the goalkeeping world (pretty much a direct quote from Mark Bosnich on a recent Ben Foster podcast). We’re definitely stuck with a boy at the moment, just have to hope he develops into a man pretty soon otherwise we’re going to come under some serious pressure this season.

I’ll be at the game today and going for a 1-1.

You should be easily identifiable on the highlights BLT every time an opposition cross comes in:

Campbell is unlikely to come for crosses whilst being coached by “stay on your line” Mussy. He even tried to convince Matt Gilks that was the best way, fortunately Matt knew better.

Mussy has been peppering him with crosses during the warm up…couple of fumbles hopefully out the way already before KO!

I’ve always been an advocate of loan players being good enough to be guaranteed starters, otherwise it seems pointless. It’s unbelievable that we have a loanee, for the season, who isn’t even making the 18 man match squad.

A great start for the boys.
Be fantastic if we can go in 2-0 up at half time. Press on boys, let’s notch that second goal asap.

Every Sutton long throw has been a foul throw.
Ref was appalling in first ten minutes. Still making mistakes but not quite as many.
The goal conceded – I really do not know what to say. Sigh!

Sadly we have a goalkeeper who’s terrified of the football. How long do we have to accept a goalkeeper who’s costing a goal almost every game he plays. Feel sorry for the outfield 10 because other than that they’ve been playing very well!

Shame Alfie had to go off. Was running the show with Ewing – or Erwin as he is known in Sutton.

Well from what I’m reading everywhere, it would appear that the manager has no idea when it comes to knowing whether we have a goalkeeper that’s ready for the national league.
Him obviously you’d rather trust with being an ex footballer and all that.
