“Scunthorpe United is looking to recruit a reliable, confident, and personable Kitchen Porter.
This hands-on role involves preparing and serving light breakfasts for players and staff, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen and dining area, and occasionally assisting with small errands. The role requires a high level of discretion, professionalism, and the ability to work independently.
Approximately 20 hours per week plus matchday duties as required.”

(Presumably the ability to play in goal and cover RB?)

Find it hard to believe they need breakfast at the time they arrive at the ground, when I’ve been down there it’s around 10 o’clock.
Argh well it’s another non playing member of staff to add to the books.

Maybe they should be looking for a chef instead, that is instead of now letting The Beckwood provide the food for hospitality for the first home game.

Maybe im out ov touch re prices but what else does the “dine with us package” include ??? as 2 courses @ 50 quid a head it wants to be a BIG lasagne and no lumps in the custard.

Just a thought but this season or until internal club restaurant gets sorted maybe they are being a tad clever and offering this match day food gig as a sponsorship to local restaurants ? the Beckwood being the first where as they provide prepare the food FOC in return for the name plug as sponsorship.

That may work ..wouldnt it ??

They don’t mention at what time the serving up of the tray bake commences?
All sounds a bit 1960/70s school dinnerish?
