An article on NL news regarding free transfers that Hartlepool could consider to boost their promotion hopes.
Anybody fancy any of these?
1. John Bostock. The 33-year-old midfielder, who began his career at Crystal Palace before spending time at the likes of Tottenham, Brentford and Hull, has been without a club since leaving Solihull Moors in the summer.
2. Matty Lund. The vastly experienced midfielder has been a free agent since leaving Salford, where he scored 26 goals in 167 games, over the summer.
7. Scott Quigley. The towering frontman would provide Pools with another option up front as well as impressive National League pedigree having won the division with both Barrow and Stockport. The 33-year-old has been a free agent since leaving Eastleigh, where he scored 14 goals in 68 games, over the summer.
Would have Matty back like a shot!
Quigley would be an upgrade on Beck. But then again so would I!
Matty is quality and a shoo-in at this level, it’s just the degenerative knee condition that worries me.
Lund was class – sign on non contract if injury prone
Earmarked Matty Lund during pre-season when he was turning out for the PFA free agent team…sign him up!
