2) scunny win opening games of the last 2 seasons, then both teams we beat go on to win the league.

The table is a liar until the last game. I remember a decade ago when Portsmouth won League Two and hadn’t ever touched top spot, even for results as they stand during games, until the last 15 minutes of the final game.

I’ve Had a look back at their fixtures and can’t see them top.
Blew it against kiddie at home when they would have, the irony of it.

As I posted on the Brackley thread, they went top on Saturday 8th March. We leapfrogged them on Tuesday 11th when we won away at Alfreton and they were held to a draw at King’s Lynn.
