    Don’t know about that but it must be a record that the top 6 teams are averaging at least 2pts a game after 23 games.

    2 points a game over the season has got you at least top 3 over the last 10 years. Usually top 2 and occasionally automatic promotion.

    Toughest professional league to get out of – at the right end.

    Unless 2 or 3 high fliers unexpectedly have a serious dip in form were going to have to maintain 2 points a game to guarantee a playoff place.

    Nah Point a game will take us to 69 and that won’t be to far off.

    We’ve got 92 league points so far in 2025 (46 + 46). So 95 if we win tonight.

    Whether or not that would be a record I’ve no idea.

    Apparently Man City accumulated 110 points calendar year 2021, well they would wouldn’t they!
