“A youthful Derby XI played out a pre-season training match against National League side Scunthorpe United in a behind-closed-doors encounter at the Rams’ training complex. The contest saw the two sides cancel each other out in a 0-0 draw. Scunthorpe, managed by Andy Butler, are preparing for their return to the National League this season after securing promotion from National League North via the play-offs in the 2024/25 campaign.”
Nothing from our end.

July 29, 2025 at 6:11 pm #307782Not wise to believe everything you read in the SUFC match report. Read what was written regarding the Spennymoor goal in our own match report then go watch the match highlights!
July 29, 2025 at 6:42 pm #307785This was a different game and a different situation I fail to see what the Spennymoor game has to do with today’s game at Derby, however I am open minded with no pre determined agenda so I will leave it there.

U11s?
Apparently Campbell made (quote) “sublime” and “splendid” saves.
All good then.

Sorry that you need simple things explaining to you but let me help you out.
Plymiron has clearly read the match report written by SUFC that has claimed Campbell had a good game. They also stated that Campbell “would produce a series of stunning reaction stops to deny both the original effort and the rebound that followed, unfortunately a ricochet would come off Madine and trickle into the net reducing the Iron’s advantage to three” in their Spennymoor match report. Anyone who has watched the highlights would know that this is is factually incorrect. Hence, don’t believe everything you read on the internet.

July 29, 2025 at 9:16 pm #307797What am I believing that I shouldn’t be? If it’s anything to do with Maison Campbell then that is based on what my own two eyes have seen, both last season and this pre-season.
He’s shite by the way.
July 29, 2025 at 10:21 pm #307798Thanks for explaining that for all of us simpletons.

July 29, 2025 at 11:36 pm #307801Campbell fumbled another two clangers against Spennymoor, thankfully only one went in the net!
July 30, 2025 at 5:28 am #307802BLT, like you, I have reservations about our ‘Number One GK’ but let us say that he might possibly be capable of significant improvement. What if that potential might soon begin to show through with half a dozen tough games under his belt?
Just how helpful is it to call him ‘shite?’5 users thanked author for this post.
July 30, 2025 at 9:13 am #307805Well exactly les resorting to bad mouthing and being rude for the sake of it about the lad is not helpful at all but some agenda driven people do this, all behind the safety of their keyboard, shocking misuse of social media.
