Enjoyed the new one, thanks. One thing I noticed about the number of transfers in by NFL clubs – aren’t 3 or 4 of the clubs that have made no signings yet, ones that had a strong season last season and maybe don’t really need to strengthen that much? Wrexham, Borehamwood, Solihull etc?

Well Wrexham have just signed one of League 2’s top centre backs so you can strike them off your list.

Even York are signing experienced Football League campaigners…we’re just wallowing in the doldrums, again!

Boreham Wood always announce their signings on July 1st. They’ve already revealed two this morning and will be announcing more during the day.

Solihull have also signed two in the last day, so that now leaves us at the bottom of the new signings table.

Neil kindly agreed to the chat for Chris Walkers’ Friends of Pakati event as we were struggling to arrange a guest. I think he is still getting paid by the club, so the only way we could make it work is if we agreed not to talk about his time as manager. It’s certainly not ideal, but I reckon it’s pretty standard practise. That said, I really do think it is a possiblity we may hear his side of the story in the fullness of time…
