Rumours have been circulating for a couple of months that Michelle was intending to step down once promotion had been achieved.

On the way into work this morning I listened to one of the Play Off final post-match interviews with her on BBC Sounds. She quite clearly says she is NOT ready to move on, as (if and when) she does decide to go and hand the Club over, it HAS TO BE to ‘the right person’. The inference is that the right person isn’t yet around – which, imho, speaks volumes…

There are several different meanings that could be inferred from that, particularly if taken alongside her comments about ‘the right person’ not being around.
