To be honest not sure many noticed he stepped up? His achievement list is . . . . ?
September 22, 2025 at 12:15 pm #311467Did he ever make a statement about anything whilst he was here ?
I bet the majority of fans did nt even know who he was !September 22, 2025 at 12:29 pm #311471Who is he/was he?
September 22, 2025 at 12:31 pm #311472Certainly won’t be missed by fans. As above – what benefit did he bring to the club?
Answers welcome if anybody has one (or more)September 22, 2025 at 12:36 pm #311473Apologies, just looked at the official site. I want to know how somebody who works from home can leave a job for “family reasons”?

September 22, 2025 at 12:41 pm #311475September 22, 2025 at 1:31 pm #311476That’s an impressive list of achievements in the press release. Oh, wait…
For the best no doubt and wish him well. However that corporate marketing speak at the last forum left me cold and suspicious. I’ve seen Moody being touted for the role. Certainly think he deserves more recognition and remuneration for what he does but without knowing what’s expected in the role in the future, couldn’t confidently say if he’d be an ideal candidate or not.
September 22, 2025 at 2:00 pm #311479What did this guy know?

September 22, 2025 at 2:22 pm #311480The mess off the field this summer was probably enough to at the very least sow seeds of doubt that Matt wasn’t cut for the job.
Concur that moody deserves a bite of the cherry if he so wishes.
September 22, 2025 at 3:31 pm #311482The 3 day music fest was his greatest achievement… oh,,, erm… one moment,,, lol
September 22, 2025 at 4:17 pm #311485What did this fella achieve ?? .. buggar all , waste of a hefty salary

September 22, 2025 at 4:25 pm #311486Is Rodders available?
September 22, 2025 at 7:01 pm #311490Is Rodders available?
Seemingly not. Interesting that he’s airbrushed his time at the Iron from history though…
https://uk.linkedin.com/in/james-rodwell-ab43b07September 22, 2025 at 7:22 pm #311492Would consider James Moody for the position.
Probably already done the job when he was left to run it when deserted by our previous failure ! Knows the club and all within it more than anyone. Loves the club and knows what the fans expects. Would think there are some who would be available if advice needed.

Ha ha, that’s convenient!
September 22, 2025 at 10:04 pm #311497He informed the Board last week of his resignation and will be leaving next week. Very unusual for a CEO only to be required to provide a 2 week notice period if all was going well. Hmmm.

I bet he hasn’t airbrushed and returned his £500k a year salary – £250k after Swann’s cutbacks?
What did he actually achieve / do whilst at the club – even had his own tea boy (coffee) in Gricey.
September 23, 2025 at 10:11 am #311502£500k?? Surely not
September 23, 2025 at 2:57 pm #311513End of an error. His legacy ,FC1billion and The Chav fest
September 24, 2025 at 11:01 am #311530Butler said in his latest Humberside interview that it’s always sad when someone loses their job. Thought he’d ‘stepped down’?
Not keen on this type of spin. Creates mistrust. Just be honest about it.
