If 13 years of Tory rule knocks 20 off your real income, knocks 40% off your pensions and £2000 on your gas bill, should you vote Tory again.
PS I guess Truss and Kwartang will be 1st in the queue for extra lessons1 user thanked author for this post.
January 5, 2023 at 11:05 am #251994That’s right!
The Tories are finished, but people’s political choices never fail to amaze. Here we are in one of the poorest regions of the country, with a lot of elderly, infirm and unemployed folk, many of whom are highly dependent on the state, and what happens? In the last election they voted for a party dedicated to making the state smaller, to cutting benefits, and ultimately making themselves poorer and struggle even more for operations, transport, financial support, and care of all kinds.
So, the message to Tory MPs is quite clear. There is a way back. They should promise to banish the state altogether, close all the hospitals, withdraw all benefits, and let the free market rip. This would lead to an even greater improverishment of North Lincs., more boarded up shops, higher levels of crime and violence, and no emergency, health or social services whatsoever, all of which would lead to a sudden reversal of Tory fortunes and a landslide victory at the next election.
Trebles all round!
