Everywhere we go
Take a look at their five and ten, they’re glistening once again
With walking canes and dead end lanes that are slow. It’s beginning to look a lot like Relegation
Defeats in every score
But the ugliest sight to see is the folly that will be
At our front door.A pair of scoring boots and a striker that shoots
Is the wish of every Iron & Awe
Players that’ll talk and will go for a walk
Is the hope of every Bunny and Hunny
And Mom and Dad can hardly wait for the season to end again. It’s beginning to look a lot like Relegation
Everywhere we go
There’s a tree in the Premier Inn, one in the Park (Quibell) as well
It’s the puny kind that doesn’t like the snow. It’s beginning to look a lot like Relegation
Soon the (death) bells will toll
And the thing that’ll make ’em ring is the stake that they bring
And drive right through your heart. It’s beginning to look a lot like Relegation
Defeats await in store
But the ugliest sight to see is the NLN welcome letter that will be
On our own front door.Sure, it’s Relegation once more!

December 8, 2022 at 9:13 am #250161Very good, a noble effort, relegation doesn’t have quite the same ring as Christmas but it’s entirely appropriate. 😂👏👏👏
December 8, 2022 at 11:51 am #250169Relegation has too many syllables.
Shit Street would be better!
December 9, 2022 at 12:33 pm #250197I have never seen such negativity around the place. Cause we have a good chance of staying up. There is plenty of games left all it takes is fans to go and support the team not sat on your arse listening to Radio humberside.

December 9, 2022 at 2:14 pm #250212I’d say the negativity comes as much from looking at the squad as from looking at the league table.
Just like last season our leading goal scorer has departed and an experienced midfielder gone out on loan.
Unless that oft expected “raft” of new signings is being paddled up the Trent we’ll most likely finish in the bottom four.

December 9, 2022 at 2:47 pm #250215Any idea why our leading goal scorer left us when he wasn’t interested in joining Oldham before?
December 9, 2022 at 6:01 pm #250224Driven out awaywego?

December 9, 2022 at 7:00 pm #250241Do you think so Deerey?
December 9, 2022 at 10:39 pm #250261Think he wanted away. Some fans attitudes towards him contributed, yes.

No, not the point gained at Yeovil.
The bookies have knocked us a point further in.1/7 ON now to be relegated!
87.5% probability of relegation now.
Scunthorpe 1/7
Gateshead 8/15
Torquay 8/13
Maidstone 8/11
Oldham 8/10Dorking 5/2
Yeovil 11/4Aldershot 6/1
Maidenhead 6/1Just the epitaph to draft as far as the bookies are concerned!
December 11, 2022 at 1:59 pm #250407Not sure we are in as precarious a position as wanted at this point only 5pts to 5th bottom and 23 games to go. A turnround is possible. The EGO doesn’t want new owners to succeed because it confirms his failure and he won’t have that.
Could be proved wrong and I sincerely wish the consortium can gain control quickly.
