21st November, these are among the most important election the trust has had. It’s been a bad last year or so for the trust.
Relations with the club are clearly frayed ,at best, the share fundraiser and the club seemingly doing sweet FA to help promote it is doing damage to the trusts reputation and standing among fans.
The last election brought fresh blood but I’m not sure of anything else.Theyve gone from shit show to shit show .
Nobody can blame the Trust for the board not liking the fact that trust members accurately reported what was said at the last AGM but it wrankled some board members. Not the Trust’s fault.
.Also not the Trust’s fault was the reaction to the ridiculous club 100000 or whatever it was called, this also led to the board reacting badly and singling out thetrust to take their anger out on.
The above difficulties were just the trust doing it’s job and strong by them
The decision to set up the online shop with people who had issues with club and who’s removal had caused certain people to create a backlash was just a dumb decision.Doing that knowing there was bad blood was ridiculous,I’m led to believe a decision that big wasn’t taken by the full board either.
Let’s hope the next round of elections get them back on an even keel.I can’t help but think John Needham taking a back seat hasn’t helped. His even thinking is going to be missed
Top bloke John Needham, a big loss to the Trust
Very happy with the way the Trust is going, keeping us informed and answering questions. The way the club don’t want to get involved with them is Pathetic and flies in the face of the were a community club bollox.
Have to agree CMC,just think the online shop was deliberately provocative at a time when bridges needed building. It’s caused huge rift
