Heard a small business owner earlier on the transistor wireless getting all philosophical about the problems with Sunak working on the assumption of 2 year austerity needed doing more harm than good as consumers will naturally tighten belts. I think the ‘austerity – no thanks!’ groundswell has started. No one wants it apart from the super rich and it’s economically regressive.
