It’s a natural progression of the internet age, it’s only the older generation complaining, including me but it’s the younger ones time now and if that’s what they want and demand so be it. Have to agree.

Even the NHS. Went for a blood test last week, was in with the practice nurse for two minutes. Next day text message saying please access your NHS App and complete the survey. Out of 5 how did you rate your appointment? 5. Why did you give us that score?

Nearly everybody wants patting on the back these days just for doing their job, best to ignore the surveys when they appear.

Multifactor identification for every damn thing, with umpteen passwords, passcodes and biological identifiers, where each one is expected to be unique. I get that things like banks need to be secure, but damn, it’s annoying. Any wrong step means they will freeze your account for ages or until you have to contact them and give every bit of detail about yourself.

Just back from Tesco’s. Two tills open on a Saturday afternoon and a ridiculously long self serve queue. Rubbish! The amount of profit they’re making and they frequently make people wait and wait to buy their overpriced goods. To say I’m annoyed is understatement.

And a stroppy assistant shouting at people because they can’t see that self serve tills were open half a mile away. Taking the piss!

They still have the same staff on the self service because of age identification for alcohol, removal of security tags etc, etc.

I’ve had Meldrew level issues with Tesco’s for years. Shysters! Just for clarity: two tills open, 10 closed! On a Saturday afternoon! Then that cheating farce that followed. And I’m at work by 8.30am tomorrow till 5pm. My blood pressure’s through the roof
