The imagery & photos at the end of the Dorking game summed up this man’s pride & passion for United.
Let’s hope these players feed off of the energy and enthusiasm generated by Daws and that they carry the fight to the opposition like what he used to.
We may not have the best players in the world but if each performs at their best and gives 100+% then we will consolidate.

Squad certainly seemed together on the final whistle.

Mind you it makes a difference being cheered off as opposed to being booed off as was the case after 45 minutes.

Got to back it up with a performance at Torquay. If not and we lose to bottom of the league (again!) then it’s very much back to square one!

I’ll say it again, just like Dorking, I can’t see Torquay beating us. Things might get more difficult after that but we will see if the boys have truly turned the corner then.

Based on what exactly LK? At best from what I’ve seen is we only turn up for one half of the game and some not at all. We’ve not won away this year and it’s October on Saturday so a draw would suffice for me.little steps.

I see gradual improvement. Yes we are leaking goals, and desperately need a new central defender. But in this league we are starting to score goals of our own. Torquay are shit, so we need to beat them.

The manager (interim) and this squad need to just concentrate on the next match, week by week.

Thats all I have ever asked for as a Scunthorpe fan, we know supporting a club our size you are going to lose your fair share of games and you will have good and not so good seasons but if I leave the ground knowing every player gave everything I will settle for it win, lose or draw.

And there’s no way you could say that on Saturday Pat, I’d like to think there was gradual improvement but it wasn’t there Saturday, the result was bloody fantastic LK but let’s be honest Dorking should have been out of sight by half time.
