FGR 0-1 IronSeptember 13, 2025 at 3:04 pm #311155I hope we’ve not scored too early.
September 13, 2025 at 3:10 pm #311156I hope we’ve scored the first of many
September 13, 2025 at 3:12 pm #311157I don’t think you can ever score to early, but it can change a teams mindset. For the team a goal up away from home, shall we stick with what we’ve got ( a fatal error with 80+ minutes to play) for the team a goal behind , we need to be more attack minded ( which can leave them open to counterattack!).
September 13, 2025 at 4:19 pm #311160That’s the definition of scoring too early Phil
September 20, 2025 at 4:11 pm #311393BOOM!
Someone said he’d be lucky to get to 5 over the course of the full season.
That’s his fifth.
He had one scrubbed from the abandoned game. (6 in total)
Let the blitz continue!
Well done Dec son!

Not sure who. But, it’s in one of the threads.
W’hall & Howe may both hit north of 20 if they remain uninjured?September 21, 2025 at 10:13 am #311431Pity Roberts seems to have lost his shooting boots, Seems more inclined to go outside and cross with his “wrong” foot this season.
September 21, 2025 at 11:12 am #311442One of the things I like about Roberts is that in the time he has been with us I feel that he has become more of a team player. A reason why AB has made him club VC? It may be part of his/the teams game plan to get the ball into the danger area quicker, rather than shoot speculatively from distance, especially now we have a goal poacher like Howe

September 21, 2025 at 11:53 am #311444Ought to have taken a shot after the excellent break late first half instead of crossing it. Minor grumble mind
September 21, 2025 at 12:45 pm #311449The recruitment in the main is going really well, we all new it was risky, Howe coming up 2 leagues, Dawson’s injury at Celtic, but we said it at the time a risk worth taking with our budget constraints.
Not everyone is going to be a decent recruit Beck shows us that, but fair play to Butler his recruitment as been better without Turnbull than with.September 21, 2025 at 8:07 pm #311456Howitzer – natural born goal scorer – never a risk.
Just pleased that the BoD read this site.
