I don’t think you can ever score to early, but it can change a teams mindset. For the team a goal up away from home, shall we stick with what we’ve got ( a fatal error with 80+ minutes to play) for the team a goal behind , we need to be more attack minded ( which can leave them open to counterattack!).

Pity Roberts seems to have lost his shooting boots, Seems more inclined to go outside and cross with his “wrong” foot this season.

One of the things I like about Roberts is that in the time he has been with us I feel that he has become more of a team player. A reason why AB has made him club VC? It may be part of his/the teams game plan to get the ball into the danger area quicker, rather than shoot speculatively from distance, especially now we have a goal poacher like Howe

The recruitment in the main is going really well, we all new it was risky, Howe coming up 2 leagues, Dawson’s injury at Celtic, but we said it at the time a risk worth taking with our budget constraints.
Not everyone is going to be a decent recruit Beck shows us that, but fair play to Butler his recruitment as been better without Turnbull than with.
