Halifax fan in peace.
Just a heads up its cash ONLY at the turnstiles on Saturday however there is an ATM 50 yards from your turnstiles at the Esso station on the main road if anyone needs it.
The nearest pub to the away turnstiles is The Three Pigeons which is about a 3 minute walk away from the away turnstiles. It’s a family friendly pub selling hand pulled ales and lagers with a good selection of pies and pasties from a local butchers.Go to the bottom of the road and turn left the pub is 100 yards on the right.
Fir those coming by train turn left at the end of the station car park and the pub is 150 yards on the left with the ground a further 100 yards beyond that.
Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

March 26, 2026 at 9:54 am #318342What’s parking like at/near the ground? Is there any designated/preferred supporter car parks etc?
March 26, 2026 at 10:02 am #318343There is a car park at the ground which charges £5 but is not the biggest and its on a first come first served basis. Note it gets full fairly quickly on big games.
There is metered street parking around the ground but with it being so close to the town centre there will be limited space.
Use Google maps to find Free School Lane for free street parking and its a good 5 minutes walk from the ground1 user thanked author for this post.
March 26, 2026 at 11:17 am #318348Do kids still throw stones down on away fans from the top of the speedway embankment terracing like in the early 80s Tezza? Only joking, probably woke a few of our lot up :)

March 26, 2026 at 12:10 pm #318351Ha no. Ground redevelopments negate that happening these days.

March 26, 2026 at 2:04 pm #318363I show my age, ran across the grass to get King Kenny Carters autograph, pre selfies when nobody had a mobile phone !
I remember the banked curves made for fast racing for the Halifax Dukes.
Back to football, an away win against a good Halifax team would be fantastic, after our draw against the league leaders.
And i remember Adan Lakeland, in his Kings Lynn managerial days, at Glanford Park shouting at Joe Rowley, give us the ball back you fucking mule, not a nice manager..
Joe Rowley is having an awesome season..1 user thanked author for this post.
