Please Iron supporters wake up from a slumber.
Our club have held talks with Gainsborough Trinity about a possible groundshare.
Maybe now people will look a bit closer at the Planning application for Glandford Park, and not think it to be merely a formality.
January 14, 2023 at 11:16 pm #252798Where’d you get the groundshare talks info from IK?
January 15, 2023 at 12:29 am #252802Two different but very reliable sources. For obvious reasons I cannot name them.

NCEL Div One (Level 10) ?January 15, 2023 at 9:31 am #252819I was told that there had been talks way back in August from a good source at the Gainsborough end. I’ve also heard similar recently.
A non Swann director laughed it off at the time, but I am absolutely convinced it is true.1 user thanked author for this post.

January 15, 2023 at 10:48 am #252833I guess that’s Simon’s option then he’s the only one been round all that time, plus sure lots have heard they’ve tapped up Bish as next manager, evidently interested but only if Swann isn’t there, at the same time Gainsborough reported to have told him they will pay him more than scunny.

Yep and any surplus from their activities is donated to the football club. GTFC only basically pay for use of the floodlights!
January 16, 2023 at 12:18 pm #252971This has been denied by both the Gainsborough Chairman and the CEO.
