Ernest Pawns Tantrum and Annoyance

Ernest has had a tantrum about Max Bell putting information on Twitter from the meeting with the Swanns (errr sorry board) and various supporters groups.

Allegedly its the bit about the ground rob, where he racks up debts, loans the club money or gets loans for the club, then takes the ground to cover the loans, and then charges the club rent to pay off the loans or debts. Or something like that.

The Iron Trust has/is applying for an ACV Asset of Community Value which means that the ground can be given extra protection from development under the localism Act 2011. The owner must also inform the Local Authority if they plan to sell the Asset.

Can’t for the life of me think why Ernie would be ‘annoyed’!

As per this post and Worried by Samways our club loses its only real asset, well done to those exposing this absolutely disgraceful act by someone supposedly having the best interests of the club at heart, surely a better way to raise funds would be a share issue.

Just remembered Pawn has already taken the shares and made them worthless in terms of a takeover. They were effectively worthless in value when bought anyway.

Is there anything we the supporters can do to stop this man?

The way English football is run, supporters can do very little about the owner of any club. This is why we need to bring in fan ownership & a raft of other measures so the game can be run in a more sustainable & fairer way for everyone.
