A quick search: Attacking midfielder from Bolton ex Chelsea Academy.
Brother of the Eze who plays for Palace?

    Not the brother no.

Looks like he’s had a few loans in and around this level.

Possibly Roberts replacement, hopefully Roberts competition.

    Attacking wise is looking decent.

    Keeper next please.

And there’s me, thinking they’d found one of the star turns from the weakender (sic) semi comatose under the stand.

Comes from Bolton’s reserves, played for Chorley then went to Halifax on loan. Looks decent from clips, but saying that…most players do.

Yes, didn’t we sign the German fella (Duran Duran or something) based on video evidence?

Oh god. That gave me chills remembering him. Turan.

    Terrible.

What on earth was the Turan signing all about? 2 year deal based on what? Very strange.

He finished last season playing in the Bulgarian 1st Division. Must have a brilliant agent

He’s made about 120-30 appearances in 10 years. Maybe he just can’t find the right club? :)

He’s a unit. Well built. Looks like a smaller Adama Traore.

Worst bit about it was that we had him in on trial first and he played at least one friendly that I can remember. Obviously impressed someone at the club!

Disappointed we have not gone after Maz Kouhyar.
Did well for Kidderminster on loan, and then released by York

I have not seen that someone has signed him. Just not sure there will be room for him if we sign Eze. Unless Eze is being signed as a Law esk player, there if we need him.

Kouhyar is 27 and a ready made first teamer. Eze, at 20, looks like a Fadera ‘project’. Mind you Fishburn was signed on a ‘project’ basis and that failed.
I’d take both but I really rate Kouhyar.

Eze will be more ready for first team than Fishburn was as he played 20 odd games for Chorley and scored a few before leaving for Halifax. Kouhyar would be clearly ready for the first team though.

Who says we’re not in for him ?. We may be trying to sign him behind the scenes. Kouhyar may even be seen as Roberts replacement because I can’t for the life of me see him signing as he’s been linked with Wigan Athletic.

Would people be happy with him potentially replacing Roberts ?

Doubt anybody will be happy if Roberts needs to be replaced but it does look likely.
In the event I reckon Kouhyar would be as good as we’ll get.

‘Doubt anybody will be happy if Roberts needs to be replaced’

Some will be hysterical if Roberts leaves. Wailing and gnashing of teeth. Might even tempt 414 out of socials retirement with doom laden prophecies.

Oh no not that please, the longer 414 stays under his bridge the better, alternatively we could send the Big Billy Goat Gruff along just to warn him off.

I ‘floated’ this one previously in one of the pre-signing Howe threads.

We’ve got the drummer, we’ve got Dec
To be sung after he scores… and at other times dictated by the claret & blue conductor.
Could be quite intimidating 4,000 fans chanting that during a game?

I just can’t see the theme tune to How taking off Rene. Certainly brings back early childhood memories
