    I did think on Saturday (Southport) that for the first time Beck had a solid game and his general strength and hold-up play was an asset to the overall performance. I also thought Whitehall would have been on the floor on several of those occasions, appealing for a free kick.

    I think that maybe squad is robust ?,it’s good to see Beck getting some respect .He’s certainly improved.

    We haven’t missed Whitehall and probably won’t next season, it’s Roberts and Fitz we will miss.

    I’m increasingly a fan of Beck. Not because he’s good, I am not sure he is, but because he’s such a man out of time, a throwback, he looks like a grandad playing in the park with his grandkids.
