Once again, DAZN’s coverage of Scunthorpe’s match (away at Sutton) is absolutely not fit for purpose. Every three or four minutes it jumps back and repeats the previous two minutes. If you’re going to shout about showing games, step up and make the appropriate investment – either in your own gear or in the infrastructure of the Clubs that need it.
August 23, 2025 at 3:50 pm #310248Working fine in the Isle of Axholme.
August 23, 2025 at 3:53 pm #310250It does shake uncontrollably with fear when there’s a cross into our box though.
Oh hang on I think it’s me that’s shaking.
August 23, 2025 at 4:14 pm #310254Are you sure it’s not your VPNs causing lagging?

Hmmmm. I did swap from Faroe Islands to Vatican City for the second half and it was marginally better.
August 23, 2025 at 5:09 pm #310268Mine was perfect apart from at 90 minutes it went off
August 23, 2025 at 8:21 pm #310282Didn’t know you could get it today, if I have VPN on it tells me to switch it off, watched Morecambe v Altrincham and it was perfect yet I watched the Southend v York and Boston v Halifax games midweek and it kept getting a blank screen every 10 minutes, though better than our game at Tamworth when it kept freezing, I will still try to get my £99 worth for the season

Probably just need a better vpn mick should be able to get every game without issue with one.
A dodgy free one probably won’t cut it.August 23, 2025 at 8:41 pm #310286It isn’t a free one
August 23, 2025 at 8:44 pm #310287No issues for me today, keep it up DAZN.
August 27, 2025 at 6:47 pm #310480Afternoon, I hope you are all well. I’m trying to fathom dazn and it’s a mindbender. Is it possible to just buy a single game, Brackley in this case, or do you need to sign up for a month? Thanks in advance.
August 27, 2025 at 7:39 pm #310481Probably easier and cheaper to just go to Brackley.

It is now a month.
Initially last season you could pay for a single game by paying for a ‘day’, which allowed access to any games played that day.
The minimum then became a week, towards the end of last season, with a 50% price increase to £14.99 (for some reason the only time I did it, it gave an eighth day, which conveniently included an away Iron match!).
Now the minimum is a month, as you thought, with different prices depending on whether you choose it as an annual subscription, the cheaper option. If you go for the single month option, cancel it straight away – there is a 30 day notice period, which could trick you into paying for a second month if you delay.
The twelve month one-off subscription was discounted a couple of weeks ago at £99.99, which depending on the quality of coverage might be a bargain. Even if not discounted , the basic price was a significant discount compared to paying for the season option monthly. There were major problems with the Tamworth stream though, and it’s too early to guess whether this was a one-off, though my stream for Sutton was flawless…
Given that it covers any game not on Saturday at 3pm, plus those that are on any weekend when PL games aren’t being played (e.g. Tamworth before the PL season started, international weekends – their marketing suggests 20 games per season per club on average), as well as offering on demand coverage of Saturday games from 5.15pm onwards, it might be worthwhile.
Apparently it’s possible to watch all games if you’re overseas, but isn’t necessarily easy to find them if the search function is on the blink.
August 27, 2025 at 7:49 pm #310483They used to do single game/week packages until late last season when it changed to monthly. Don’t think there’s any other option other than to sign up for the year.
Looking at the upcoming fixtures a monthly pass ain’t too bad value as I think you’ll (legally) get to watch the Brackley, Eastleigh, Wealdstone (as it falls on a Premier League international break) and Boreham Wood games for £19.99.
August 27, 2025 at 8:17 pm #310485I’ve watched us at Tamworth, Boston v Halifax, Southend v York and Morecambe v Altrincham and full match replay against Sutton, the Tamworth game there was a lot of freezing, the Boston and Southend games it was screen going blank for a few seconds, the Morecambe game was perfect and the Sutton game was perfect though it wasn’t in real time, these were all from iPad, do they have a app for laptop
August 27, 2025 at 8:58 pm #310490Careful if you’re signing up for one month and how many non 3pm Saturday games you’re going to get. I think November and December are like one game per month on closer fixture inspection. If ever i watch now I use the app on the smart TV. Never a problem on it. Laptop was problematic
August 27, 2025 at 9:13 pm #310493Thanks everyone. Might just have to revert to Humberside commentary.
August 27, 2025 at 9:49 pm #310500Brackley and Eastleigh are both on
August 28, 2025 at 7:32 am #310511Agree on the Tamworth coverage which was awful, but it has improved since. In terms of commentary I have DAZN with the sound down and then BBC RH with sound up. Can be a bit off a faff but once you’ve got the two in sync by repeatedly pausing and restarting the radio commentary stream until it’s in line with the visual stream, it works a treat !
If you remember recording Pick of the Pops with your two trigger fingers hovering over Record and Pause on your twin cassette deck you’ll soon get the hang of it !

August 28, 2025 at 8:51 am #310517This whole DAZN thing sounds a whole load of pain with very little gain, good luck to those willing to take a punt but I’m glad I’m not that fussed about watching it, home games and away highlights for me, so more a chilled experience.
August 30, 2025 at 5:54 pm #310602What’s this lagging bollocks when the main camera is on? Shite DAZN! And how difficult can it be to pronounce Ewing correctly? Ffs

August 30, 2025 at 6:22 pm #310604Ok with me Deery
August 30, 2025 at 6:35 pm #310605Still doing it. Could be my broadband I suppose. Never done it on my TV before mind. It’s watchable, but a bit poor
August 30, 2025 at 6:36 pm #310606And seems to be fine when one of the other cameras are live
August 30, 2025 at 7:42 pm #310615Had two interruptions and opted to reload. Saw 99%+
August 30, 2025 at 8:41 pm #310623A couple of very brief blackouts but otherwise excellent. Thought the ref was a bit card happy but same for both sides. Both Starbuck yellows harsh IMO.
August 30, 2025 at 8:47 pm #310626I don’t normally slate refs but he was rubbish. Was the Whitehall shove a pen? Rarely seen them given and he’s infamous for shithousery of course.
August 30, 2025 at 8:54 pm #310628Rarely see them given but it’s a foul, one of those that refs normally give anywhere but in the penalty area.

Think it was Earring, Irving or something today definitely not Ewing, Bobby, JR or anything like.
August 30, 2025 at 11:32 pm #310631‘Erwing’. Sure I’ve had that commentator before. Like a bored Alan Partridge.
