Sorry, but how come the club don’t appear to take action (unless I’m missing something) against random Iron tat producers that get promoted on the fans Facebook page, who are clearly not giving any profits back to the club from using their branding, but seem happy to rap the knuckles of the the Iron Trust and fans selling merch with profits going back to the club? Makes no sense.
You still ain’t got it Deerey being telling you forever the club aren’t really interested in the fans and certainly not the trust.
And it’s a little bit easier to tell the trust to cease and desist than chase every other online merchandiser for very little gain.
Cost of litigation will far out weigh any financial gain.
Still seems cockeyed.
Happens all over the country and all over the world.
Big match at St James’ Park later and there’ll be half a dozen stalls operating in the Toon today selling unlicensed NUFC gear.
Go to Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece. Shops busting at the seams with ripoff goods.
Of course. Not denying that. My point about was the club going after particular supporters producing merch who sell it to support the club whilst they’re happy to let tat like that clock be sold and given free promotion on the fans Facebook page. I’ll email them and ask.
Maybe one for the voice of the fans?
The disgraceful moderation of that page doesn’t help
I’m confused why the club are holding a “Grinch party” when they’ve not wanted to know last season with an Xmas party for the kids, and left it down to the scunny fans group to organise one post xmas.
It’s surely not down to some event company coming in offering a bit of money and the club making grubby pounds on the backs of kids is it.
That’s what Xmas is all about good will to all men and all that.
