May 1, 2025 at 9:20 am #303825This is going to be close, because all games of this nature are. I think we will win, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a Fitzsimmons penalty save AET that does it! Apart from the GK, all the other Subs must be able ( and willing) to take a successful penalty!
May 1, 2025 at 12:10 pm #303833Providing we have no injury concerns and Whitehall is fully recovered from his sickness bug and AB sets the team up correctly with NO sub keeper on the bench, we should win.
May 1, 2025 at 12:17 pm #303834Looks like 7 subs allowed in these play offs so no excuse not to have a keeper on the bench.

Didn’t know that cass, a change from last season then which I didn’t take into account, extra seats required next to the dugout then.
May 1, 2025 at 1:38 pm #303841i think we will beat Chorley .. possibly a few goals in this one 1-1 at 90 mins 3-2 to the Iron after ET.
Thats where the positivity ends sorry guys … cant see us beating Kiddy or Chester even though its at AAGP .. can see it being really tight and going to pens in which case im not optimistic, Tango man has the edge over AB and Chester be well backed and up for revenge.
May 1, 2025 at 2:05 pm #303842Beat both Chester and Kidderminster by a couple of goals at home this season. Butler style bore draw away at Chester and would have been another at Kidderminster but for a freak goal. Not sure why you are so pessimistic IFA?
None of that matters of course unless we beat Chorley. Not managed to beat them home or away this season.
May 1, 2025 at 3:10 pm #303847Tango man is more experienced than AB in the managerial department but AB has the superior squad over both Kiddy and Chester IMO and our home record is very impressive, particularly against both teams.
May 1, 2025 at 3:19 pm #303850Did you see Tango man’s post Southport video?
Best part of 20 minutes explaining how everything he did in preparation was perfect and his players were inexplicably sh1te.
Wonder if he will have got them all out from under the bus by Sunday?
May 1, 2025 at 3:20 pm #303853Are you sure about the 7 subs on the bench Cass, thought it only applied to step 1 clubs, step 2 rules for 24/25 say only 5.
May 1, 2025 at 4:27 pm #3038597 subs named in every playoff game in the North/South so far.
