I think he might be talking about Mr Ellis and his follower
October 26, 2025 at 9:12 am #312541…is it the same crowd that never forgave Brian Laws for standing up to them when we lost at Rochdale all those years ago?
October 26, 2025 at 10:00 am #312542You do know Butler is talking to you as well 64 with your constant criticism of Danny, just stay away he doesn’t want you there, well if that’s if you go anyway.
Crowd would be halved if he had his way when it comes to opinions on a certain Mark Beck.October 26, 2025 at 10:16 am #312545Get rid and take the keeper with you
Both keepers :-)
October 26, 2025 at 11:09 am #312546You do know Butler is talking to you as well 64 with your constant criticism of Danny, just stay away he doesn’t want you there, well if that’s if you go anyway.
Crowd would be halved if he had his way when it comes to opinions on a certain Mark Beck. Why are you intent on suggesting some of us on here, including me, don’t attend games?
October 26, 2025 at 11:21 am #312547Crowd would be halved if he had his way when it comes to opinions on a certain Mark Beck.
Using that criteria Awaywego the crowd would consist of Andy and Mrs Beck.

October 26, 2025 at 11:28 am #312548Ha, given Butler’s ‘don’t bother coming’, ‘what are you bringing?’ comments come straight after his withering response to Rory’s constant criticism from certain supporters, I think it’s pretty obvious which ‘two’ he’s referring to. For the record, I think he’s wrong to suggest they stay away (one in particular has done much for the club) but completely agree, certain criticisms, I’ve highlighted numerous times on here, have overstepped the mark and won’t influence his decisions anyway. Are some of you going to accuse Butler of being obsessed and having an agenda? Maybe, listening to Butler, some of you might start to appreciate the wider social media arena a bit more and what’s being said beyond Bru.
October 26, 2025 at 11:38 am #312549‘yeah but, no but…’. Jimmy who?
Lost their big cup tie home to Corby, Becky and Barra must be inconsolable.
October 26, 2025 at 12:42 pm #312550You’ve admitted you don’t go to games Deerey, and once you told me the reason I haven’t mentioned it in a year or more, but with the subject we were on I just couldn’t help myself, sorry.
But with 64 he makes out he’s been to games when he hasn’t.
For reference I’ve only been myself to some pre season and the Tamworth games up to now, Rochdale and Altrincham next, and that’s why I could only say ‘if’ on 64 attending having not being to an home game yet.October 26, 2025 at 12:56 pm #312551On Butler being obsessed on the subject, maybe he should just let it lie, after all fans aren’t going to change his stance.
On said or any other fans they were here way before he ever joined the club and hopefully will still be paying fans way after he’s left the building, the club need paying fans more than we need ex managers there ten a penny already.October 26, 2025 at 1:12 pm #312552But with 64 he makes out he’s been to games when he hasn’t.
Surely you’ve worked out by now that he doesn’t have to know much about a subject to have an opinion on it that can’t be disputed.

October 26, 2025 at 2:04 pm #312554Obviously i dont attend games but as a loyal and supportive fan of the club i should still have an opinion.
AB comments about fans staying away are IMO out of order .. his suggestion 2 out of the 4000 + in attendance should stay away is ridiculous , what if its 100 or 200 who have a differing opinion to his re ANY PLAYER not just the keeper, maybe he wants a soulless stadium full of happy clappers .
All he seems to do is warble on about how magnificent his staff are and what a fantastic group he has …… agreed but its the fans with or without an opinion who pay their wages and he should do well to remember that IF n WHEN things go pear shaped.
Football is so fickle and todays hero is tomorrows villan .. and not all fans are of the ilk of gushing Stu Maw or Positivity Dave …so many more have a more realistic opinion without the claret n blue tainted glasses and feel the need to voice it even if its negative. No manager should ever tell fans to stay away period !

October 26, 2025 at 2:33 pm #312555Tbh IFA, I think he’s referring to a few that have overstepped the mark, but I think he’d be better off ignoring them. That said he probably wants to be seen as protecting his players, and that’s a good managerial trait to have in my opinion.

October 26, 2025 at 2:40 pm #312556I have never said I don’t go to ‘any’ games awaywego. During the Hilton era I barely went because I couldn’t stomach giving my money to him and the fanbase was particularly toxic in that period. Gradually started attending more and more over the last season or two, and when I can’t it’s DAZN or Humberside commentary. Not that attending more than others should command more right to opinion than someone who attends every single match, as you seem to think it does.
October 26, 2025 at 4:09 pm #312558What don’t you get that I’ve only being to one league match this year, does that really come across of someone who thinks fans that go to more matches command more of an opinion.
Dense or what!October 26, 2025 at 4:24 pm #312559If you don’t go to matches how can you have a true opinion about our club?
October 26, 2025 at 4:34 pm #312560Define true opinion.
Another self righteous up ones own arse post there premier iron.October 26, 2025 at 5:35 pm #312561‘Dense’, ‘self righteous’, ‘up one’s own arse’. Did someone force you to watch the women’s football last night mate? You seem a bit narked.
October 26, 2025 at 5:51 pm #312562If you don’t go to games, it does make it harder to comment on the performance of the team, but off pitch matters can still be understood as well.

October 26, 2025 at 6:02 pm #312563The DAZN coverage helps.
October 26, 2025 at 6:51 pm #312565“You do know Butler is talking to you as well 64 ” I’d suggest I now no such thing as I rarely listen to interviews so barely know what he’s said most weeks .I have other interests that take me eye as well.
“But with 64 he makes out he’s been to games when he hasn’t.” why would anyone do that? What an odd accusation to make .I guess my people who flock to shake my hand at trust corner most games would disagree with youOctober 27, 2025 at 9:40 am #312568Aye! Funny how simply watching something like MOTD turns many an average Joe into the football equivalent of Albert Einstein.
October 27, 2025 at 9:57 am #312569A club higher up the pyramid may come a knocking?
Reading – he’d probably need to relocate?
Peterborough – expected to replace DF today. If GM hits the rocks at Donny – then I can see AB given serious consideration for the job.
