Over two months since they last lost a league match. Six straight wins only conceding twice.

Nailed on seventh or due a defeat?

Will we be trying to win or just saying “we want to win every game”?

I’m not optimistic and can see them scoring more than one. Predicting a 2-1 defeat.

Possibly, unless Denton is playing further forward like he has does quite a few times previously.

Not surprised Starbuck has been given a rest. He had a poor game on Saturday.
Looks like he’s parking the bus and hoping for a bit of Roberts magic.

Excellent commentary I’ve heard on DAZN and he said it’s the best performance he has seen from an away team in the first half at their ground.

5 wins and a draw and not moved from 6th place.
Best NL in a long time still 6 teams averaging 2 Pts a game.
All to play for let’s hope it’s us if not automatic then 2nd or third one less game and an home draw in the semi.

Away wins at York, BWood, Southend, & draw at FGR shows how good we are. Frustrating at the odd blip but this team can turn it on and be a joy to watch. Long time since we could say that.
As Evans said in a football match we are good, not so good breaking teams down in a training match.
If we Learn that 1st could be possible

Back to Back (5) then. Oh Dear!

I always knew a back 5 had it’s benefits, I just didn’t know what they were.
Magnificent first half performance, more please.

Putting my long hiatus from this forum to one side. I have to admit to all you fine folk that Roberts goals was erection worthy. No doubt about it.

Now I have gotten that off my chest I feel at peace.

That will be me now for several months. Typing that was monumental. Worth the wait.

Best NL in a long time still 6 teams averaging 2 Pts a game.

6 teams still averaging >=2 points per game in the same division is pretty wild. In the 4 divisions above us there’s only 4 teams in total doing that!

I think for the first time that was a genuine back 3 which is a very positive system. Previous incarnations have been a back 5.
A back 5 leaves your midfield exposed whereas a back 3 allows you to dominate a decent midfield.
Well done to Andy and the whole team but particularly the back 3.

Really superb first half, as good as I’ve seen a Butler side play. Coped reasonably well when put under pressure in the second but, as ever, cracks started to appear and things began to fall apart a tad when substitutions were made. However, we held on and rode our luck a little bit, imho.

No wonder you’re not posting much anymore.

If Robert’s goal was erection worthy, and you’ve just got it off your chest, you’ll be spending a lot of time with the doctor.

It explains many of your posts now. The rush of blood obviously leaves you somewhat light-headed……

Neil Cox said it looked like a back four just after kick off.
