Never known injuries to come so thick & fast!

As commented in several posts by many contributors, our players appear to be more committed this season, throwing themselves in front of shots and passes to achieve blocks and disrupt the opposition. I think this sort of game lends itself to the sort of “knocks” we have been seeing. Makes me proud of the team to see them all putting their bodies on the line as they put in their “shift”.

4 injured in one match and more in the following match. Begs the question why are we risking even more crucial injuries whilst competing in the Mickey Mouse cup??

One game a month between August and Christmas shouldn’t be exactly onerous.

I’m more concerned about the pitch than the players!

Pitch was much better Monday. Still lifting here and there but in much smaller areas.

Looks like the tining is working and should be just about sorted by Wealdstone.
