I bet Manure wish they’d not sacked their previous manager when fans were panicking now,

If only we had stuck with Keith Hill.

    Where could we be now?

When Bru was on the old site a number of years ago, there was someone, I can’t remember who who kept banging on about getting Hill as manager (a long time before we actually did) and look how that turned out. I’ve looked on the old site to try to find their posts but they must have been archived.

    Okay with that personally:

Butler clarifies stance on fan negativity and calls for unity

Yeah I’m happy with AB saying what he said and his clarification follow up is fine too. There will always be people with an agenda who look for faults, not saying they want people to fail or anything like that but banging on about negatives be it a certain player or the manager can only be repeated so often before it becomes a distraction too many. There is voicing opinion and voicing it in a certain way particularly if it’s abusive about a player that is counter productive, don’t think you need to be Einstein to work that one out.

To be fair other people fancied him as manager too, not just me. Hill before we signed him had a good record too. Interesting how I’m always picked out lol

Keep it going lads. Look through the archives, I’m sure you’ll find more.

So the comments are coming from in the ground and behind him in the main stand if he’s hearing them you would think.
Like I said at the time the only comment I’ve heard about Maison was at Cleethorpes when it was directed vocally to Butler.
Not as though others don’t come in for some stick,In the previous 2 seasons of being a season ticket holder Whitehall comes in for the most stick from fans other than Butler himself, in the Dre anyway.

Clown on Facebook group insisting Butler’s not that bright and anticipating ‘cry babies’ reaction. Oh the irony.

Whilst i do see ABs point he really should think before coming out with such a guff comment and pissing off fans who do have an alternative opinion.. as my old gran used to say shortly before the judges closing remarks and sentencing ..”” sometimes its best to say nothing at all”” … she got 4 years for GBH.

Isn’t AB simply giving his opinion on their opinions, seems fair to me.

But Butlers a paid employee of the club, not a fan like the rest of us.
So his opinion has no merit with me, he’ll soon be gone while the rest of us will be fans forever.
Remember when tango man offered an opinion on his players, didn’t go down well on here and in the end paid the price.
Not quite just a simple opinion!

So only certain people get to voice their opinions on players but the manager who manages them cannot respond publicly in their defence, yeah right Awaywego whatever.

When tango man offered his opinion on his players you said he deserved the sack.
Wasn’t he just responding publicly, guess everyone has to play along to your rules.
At least tango mans opinion wasn’t going to cost his club money, money that helps pay his wages.
No doubt his comments are totally different to the case of Butler’s. Lol.

Tango man was hurting his club by slagging his players off because they would lose faith in him and not give of their best, it was his decision to go public and a poor one IMO. AB situation is totally different and I reckon he will gain more support from it with the vast majority of the fans, nowt to do with rules it’s to do with people backing the players and team, unless you think differently of course.

Main difference is the players are playing for Butler and achieving success. Kiddie blew the last few games of the season and playoffs and Tango threw them under the bus. Butler’s going out his way to support and defend his players and during rocky patches will deflect attention away from them. That’s the way to do it. Tango’s wasn’t.

Well bugger me it’s different you say. I did say I thought it would be.
Guess it’ll be different too when everyone was slagging Swanny off it was fair game then even though he’d put and lost millions in the club.
So in your eyes we can boo players onto the pitch slag owners off, but we can’t give negative opinions on players or the current manager, bearing in mind they are only opinions.

Chester fan let his opinions get the better of him, abusive before he went down the tunnel at Worksop, once down the tunnel he got into Chester dressing room and was abusive with a physical altercation. Wow.
Guess the guy just had enough, well at least for 3 years anyway.
