I live over Worksop way and watched them a few times last year. While they won’t set NLN alight I don’t think they will struggle either. Exactly the sort of team we struggled to beat LAST season. Thus I would have thought this would have been a good friendly one or two games in….not as late as 2nd August!

Well Mick to be honest your arguably the most famous of people to be born in Worksop.

Fancy taking noggers tours round the sites, Wiki says there’s a dog friendly cafe and a nice second hand bookshop not forgetting Mr Straws house.
Thank God we adopted you lol.

2 more friendlies announced Cleethorpes town on the 12th Gainsborough on the 19th both away, would be great to play the lincs cup qtr final against the cods as one of the home games in July would draw a reasonable crowd, more than enough to cover policing, no more of this closed door malarkey.

There won’t be any pre-season friendlies at home this year, for pitch reasons.
