This bile of yours is typical of a Scunthorpe Labour Leftie.
Speaking of “when I were a lad!”
We were all Scunthorpe Labour Lefties and proud of it. Don’t know how you could have grown up in the town in the 50s & 60s and not been.
Toryism of the Alf Garnet school was seldom seen. So I’m not sure where BS, BJ & LK get it from.
Don’t ask me, I wasn’t born till 66.
Hi Lord K, you are only a youngster pal, in 1966 I was in charge of a Construction Company squad building the Ironbridge B Power station in Shropshire, and paying UK Tax Iron-awe !!!!!
Deerey would be still bouncing about in a ball bag ha ha!, and like milk, he probably turned sour with being churned up so much, and he is still sour 55 years later! I am going to take him for a few pints one of these days and have a bit of banter, you know he used to be nice to me last year, yes if he will go, we can visit a pub, both take the knee in respect, and I will get him a few beers after my 40 years working abroad for his country men. No I must miss taking the knee because of my knee replacements, but I am sure my old mate Deerey won’t mind.
I’ve no doubt that as Iron fans we should all be able to get along. That doesn’t mean we are all pals, but there are not many of us and in some situations we have to stick together. Oh and I’ve just got up for my late shift, only to remember I don’t have one today. I don’t feel young at all mate.
