The paper which posited its potential use has been withdrawn to to ethical issues, but I am sure that’s all part of the conspiracy.
There’s some suggestion from in vitro lab experiments that it showed inhibition of covid, but that isn’t proving that it works in human bodies. Vaccines have shown that they do work in humans, so it’s odd to see the former celebrated as something not remotely experimental and the latter as experimental.
Needless to say, ivermectin is not approved for use on covid by any reputable medical body. It has serious health impacts if abused, including liver failure and a sudden drop in blood pressure. Anyone using this is risking their health.
It’s ironic that those who bemoan use of a vaccine which is based on years and many papers of research into efficacy, alongside well understood science of immunity and past successful vaccines will place trust in a potentially dangerous drug which has little to show for it in its success against covid. All the things they criticise the vaccines for are present in ivermectin, only with more issues and less benefits, yet they don’t care about that.
