Why do you keep ignoring that I think that Biden has made a catastrophic mistake?
You don’t have to answer, because I know it. Because it doesn’t suit your rubbish straw man argument that I am biased by being ‘left wing.’ I mean, I am left leaning, however I would place myself as centre-left. I believe in a capitalist economy, have no desire for any kind of revolutionary reform and am very much a gradualist. Tony Blair is the best PM of the last 50 years in my opinion. To many leftists they would recoil at that, but according to those entrenched way to the right this makes me the second coming of Karl Marx.
Meanwhile you pretend to be measured by calling Biden senile, without evidence, making it to be a black and white situation where nothing bad would have happened with Trump and that Trump has no responsibility for signing a peace deal with the Taliban which would have seen troops leave. There would be no situation where Islamist terror would be avoided, no matter what administration is in charge.
Why do you think Trump would have been any better? Do you not remember the Syria pull out under Trump’s watch, which was catastrophic too? Or does that not count because it is your side who was in charge then? You can tell who the really biased ones by how they frame arguments and they are often completely different, dependent on who is in charge.
Conservatives were praising Trump to the hilt for preparing to abandon Afghanistan, yet when Biden does it they do a 180. I have no doubt you would have done the same.
Whereas, I am confident in saying it’s a disaster with Biden, as it would have been with Trump as president. It really doesn’t bother me who is in charge, the plight of the Afghans because of this is a stain on the USA. It could really do without ideological dogmatists out to try and pardon their side and point all blame at the other to score points.
