Surprised no one has mentioned the Chesham & Amersham by-election result.
We’ve witnessed the breaching of the Red Wall, could this be the start of the breaching of the Blue Wall?
Of course the Home Counties blue-rinse brigade where never going to put their cross next to the Labour candidate, but to shun the Tory in favour of the LibDems, who, let’s face it, have been fairly quiet since 2019, should be a wake-up call for HM Government.
Perhaps they feel ignored by the party that ruled the roost. That they have spent too much time and money courting the Northern prols in places like Hartlepool and not enough on the traditional heartland.
Not so much trouble at t’mill as trouble at the Hunt Ball!
