They do, but there is a lot of focus on Labour faults. It may be more a case of the pandemic and people wanting stability in tough times, especially as governing parties roll out vaccines and make people feel content.
Look at the Welsh result where Labour have done well. Welsh Labour have been the dominant force in Wales during the pandemic and have seen good results in the elections this week, just as the Tories have in the UK.
Now I am not denying contributions from other aspects, such as the weak Labour policy and image, but with England and Wales strongly favouring the party who has been responsible for pandemic policy in these times I have suspicions that a lot of it is down to pandemic politics. For now people are happy with the parties which have guided them through these times.
