Confronting Bi with reason is like trying to persuade a religious fundamentalist to become a humanist, or a cult member to leave and see the light outside.
Good pensions, Markle, social protection, management of the Covid and the economy or the cult fanzines which pass as ‘press’!
Why are a few people apparently blind to the obvious? The best explanation is Gervais’s ‘ten per cent’ rule.
These ‘ten per centers’ are completely devoid of reason and will only accept the creed of their leader/party/club.
They’d rather be seen as false, simple, stupid or hypocritical, than criticize their own dogma.
Perhaps the most stark illustration of this is Covid, with over 125000 deaths and possibly the worst record in the world in dealing with a disease which has affected everyone, and resulted in economic ruination for many more. Yet, BI (and to be fair, a small number of others) are constitutionally unable to find a bad word for those in charge.
Possibly the most interesting question is to ask what could possibly have made him like this. I can sort of understand it with religion, particularly if raised in a religious household. But, politics??
